    out of interest, what amp/rig are you running... I used to be all about "bass - lead - amp - cab" then I got older and could no longer lug the mighty 76 Orange superbass head and a 4x12 about and went all small tranny.. at which point the pedals started to accumulate.. is there a correlation?

    Spent a bit of time with my Stomps in my socks.. ouchy. Looked at pedal toppers, and being a total cheapskate I snagged 10 x 10mm Axle Caps for like £3.00 on the bay So far a complete success for me and my feet and a cheapo topper hack for you! Disclaimer - I have not attempted to take one off yet and think this might be a semi permanent mod 😀

    interested in the 4/10.. I have an old Peavy TKO head from a combo and was thinking of a franken rebuild.. doing a bit of googling to see if it will fit in the hole.. Oh wait! its "neatly shortened" still might be a cool thing though... out of interest the what is the rating on the 2x10 ?
