I didn’t know you could take the pots apart like that, looks like he must’ve done some kind of repair

Sorry to hear this, bass is a big part of my life but not everyone is the same , really wish you all the best in the future and hope you still be posting here

I’d say the neck is definitely legit, white with a maple fingerboard is one of the combinations I haven’t had yet in a precision , they do look nice , especially with the black guard

Sadly, I had a similar diagnosis 3 weeks ago Ray. I've already started selling stuff, to raise a bit of cash and to save the Mrs from being left with the job of disposing of things she doesn't fully understand. This forum is probably your best bet, depending on what you're selling. I put my Noble preamp up for sale on here a couple of weeks ago, it sold in 6 minutes! I'll be keeping 1 bass, 1 amp and 1 speaker though, to bequeath to my grandson in an an attempt to dissuade him from becoming a guitarist, and just in case an unprecedented miracle occurs......meanwhile, I'm concentrating on living in the moment. Good luck with it all.
Sorry to hear that skin, sending best wishes 🙂

The number stamped on the bottom of the bridge pickups 100482
I can figure out how pot codes work however there seems to be different systems for pickups. Thanks
I found the jazz pickup serial numbers changed over the years, so not 100% sure but as far as I know the last two digits are the year and the 04 is the fourth week, similar to this 82 jazz , hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along

Very sorry to hear your news, I don’t sell much, that’s why I’ve acquired so much gear 😁, but over the years I’ve had only very good experiences with buying and selling and no problems whatsoever , good luck 🙂

I’m going again tonight, it runs every two weeks. I’ll try and play with the drummer before it starts and see how it goes
Good for you, the worst that can happen is it doesn’t work out , good luck

The sticker which is hard to make out but looks like Fender serial number to the left and to the right I can only make out ERER
From what I understand the FRR 42 is the QC stamp, Jose Serna the neck maker, and I think 4071 may be the batch/factory code , can’t make out the sticker though, sometimes it’s the same sticker that’s on the back of the pickguard but that one has letters, I’m curious now 😁

If I’m learning a Bassline I have to learn it exactly as it was played and I can’t rest until I’ve got it, depending on time of course ie if it’s short notice, but after that I sometimes just play it the way I like and also adding my own thing

It’s wooten for me, seems like a really nice person but I struggle to watch him , and I’ll probably get shot down but I think Jaco is overrated

Just reviving this one to ask if anyone uses their Noble with a valve amp, or would it not be beneficial, I already get the sound I want from my V4B but I’m quite impressed with all the videos I’ve watched on the noble

Unsurprisingly their feedback suggests they only sell modern guitars on eBay. Maybe he/she/they collect vintage guitars “for the shop” without real intention of selling, so super inflate the prices.
As long as I’ve known them their prices have been unrealistic, perhaps it’s another way to advertise their studio

Looks like Essex recording studios bought the entwistle 72

That's similar to my own 74 Jazz (currently on loan to Rob Harris from Jamiroquai)
That’s lovely, I bet he doesn’t want to give it back 😁
