Yup, had some before, really good. A quick big up for Obbm's cables, too. The best.
Snap 😀 I’ve got those too, they really are the best 👍

Now back to just one, my trusty bitsa Precision, which started life as a 2003 MIM. Only bits left original are the body, bridge and knobs. About to get a Kiogon transplant.
That's all, folks!
You can’t go wrong with a kiogon transplant, I’ve got a few myself, just amazing 🙂

my go to bass is a Sandberg California TT custom , I’ve also got , 8 jazzes, 2 p basses, a Washburn force 4 , Yamaha 415, and a semi acoustic bass, there’s probably 1 jazz I would sell , but I’ve got a really bad urge at the moment for a shell pink Limelight jazz 🙂

I’m not a highly technical guy but I’ve had a lot of amps, what would define an amp as being clean, ie, is a valve amp clean, just curious 🙂

Welcome Dry 👍

A piece of acoufoam , the same as cabinet isolation pads would do the job , it’s quite grippy 🙂

That’s a bargain for such a nice bass 🙂

A little pineapple on a ham pizza - very nice, it's a little zing on top of the smooth ham & cheese.
Another flats fan here, a touch of compression, dip the mid's a bit and find that rich, warm, creamy smooth tone that sits comfortably in the mix rather than cutting through.
But each to their own.
Sounds perfect to me 🙂

We use all Behringer stuff. Power mixer, PA speakers and monitor, and I honestly can't fault any of it.
I’ve got quite a few amps, and I have a Behringer bx 3000T which I use in the studio sometimes, you can pick them up for pennies, they are built like a tank and when you push them they still produce a good tone , it’s never let me down 🙂

I like to do as much work on my guitars as I can, but not sure if buying in the tools for fret dressing/crowning is financially viable?
I’ve seen the files on eBay but I’m not sure how good they are 🙂

I’d make him an offer he couldn’t refuse if I was you, that’s lovely, and it’s aged really nicely 🙂

Not sure if this any help , but when I had my 62 RI set up the luthier told me he couldn’t get the action really low because the last 2 frets were slightly high, he charged me £20 to level them , I wasn’t brave enough to try it myself 😁

Looking good cuzzie, nice grain on the fretboard 👍

If you tighten it, it will straighten the neck , but just do about a 1/4 turn or slightly less to start with and let it settle, that’s how I’ve always done mine and they’ve all been fine, I play with a very low action so I have my necks straight, but it’s all personal choice 🙂

Sounds like a truss rod adjustment is needed, it could be the excessive heat we have had lately , I had the same thing on one of my jazzes which I stupidly left on my stand in front of the window 🙂

Best of luck with your opening , I cannot make tomorrow but I’ll definitely be dropping in after seeing that selection 🙂
