  1. They do take a while to play in, I’d say you will notice the difference within a few months and then they just keep on getting better 🙂
  2. Cool story, I’ve never met Damien, but a few years back I had vip passes for Jimmy cliff at the O2 , I was invited to the after show party where I met the whole band and all the engineers, they were the nicest bunch of people I think I’ve ever met, and they know how to party 😁
  3. Thanks ped , it just looks so cool
  4. I have no idea what it does or what it is, but I want one 😁
  5. My favourite track by Damien, the best he did IMO Im sure it was used in a few video games too, I remember it from grand theft auto
  6. Great bassline, I’ve added that to my, to play list ☝️

    Hello

    Welcome op 👍
  10. It wouldn’t do any harm but If the four screws are good fixings, I don’t see much point 🙂
  11. How about a bit of Ronnie Davis
  12. Yeah none of the clubs were specifically reggae, only one nighters, it would be different music on different nights, there was some basement reggae clubs scattered around, the only one that was, was the four aces in Dalston, I used to follow Jah Shaka and Sir coxone then too
  13. Cruising through Forest gate listening to this
  14. Good video 👍, I don’t get involved in politics , I just like the music, but I’d say most reggae and dub we listen to has a message, Exodus was a massive influence on me ,it’s a great album, and if you listen to the lyrics in this, it’s definitely telling a story
  15. I did a quick one on here but nothing came up 🙂
  16. Would a 3 way one work on a stack knob plate, similar to the Yamaha bb , one position for neck pickup, one for bridge and one for both.
  17. Someone suggested we try Heaven club one night, that was interesting 😁
  18. I was there late 70s early 80s and it moved a few times around Oxford street, then disappeared, another shop was Red Records opposite Brixton station but that disappeared too, there was a shop in Romford called Boogie Times , which sold reggae and house music and it was also a ticket outlet, I met Keith Flint there once , apparently their studio wasn’t far away
  19. Probably had a few woodbines and forgot 😂
  20. One thing that was good in Lunnon was this place, it had the most amazing collection of reggae and dub, lots of it was straight from the studios in Jamaica, and imports, I spent all day on Saturdays in there 🙂
