  1. Yeah they do look nice, this looks like one but it’s in the US, I nearly bought a 64 RI a few years back but it had dots ,not blocks and binding
  2. These people are just so low, I’m always on bass sites, I’ll keep an eye out 👍
  3. Great amp and a great price 👍
  4. Did you ever find out if it could be done 🙂
  5. Nice one 👍, there’s quite a few versions out there and some played in different keys , I’m pretty sure the diamonds did the original
  6. Sound like the mighty diamonds to me
  7. Lovely 👍, and a nice tort, some of them I find a bit too bright
  8. Not that I change mine very often but when I do ,I do them one at a time so the neck still keeps some tension
  9. No it was the first one that came up on classic and cool 😁, is that a roasted maple neck, they are so nice
  10. Let me guess, could it be something along the lines of a PJ limelight 🤔😁
  11. That’s cool, I had to bend the bottom of my Hercules one in to fit because I couldn’t find one, I’ll get one of those 👍
  12. Welcome Dave 👍
  13. A bit more Norris Reid this morning , great Bassline
  14. A friend of mine runs 2 big baby ll cabs from one amp successfully for big reggae gig’s, but I’m not sure what amp he’s using at the moment, I don’t think you need 2 amps
  15. I’ve got 2 jazzes with daddario black tapes, really great strings, they are super smooth when played in
  16. Welcome carol 👍 , it’s a friendly community here, if there’s any info you need to find out about your basses I’m sure someone here will be able to help 🙂
  17. Can’t help you with the maths, I’ve got one bb ll , but 2 barefaced big baby’s is immense 👍
  18. Yeah, that as well 👍😁
  19. The wood ones definitely sound better
  20. I’ve seen some really nice jazzes on there but never bought any, I think you still have to pay customs on top , one I was looking at had this in the description International Buyers - Please Note: Import duties. taxes. and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying
  21. These are the ones I’ve always been advised to use, but I have also made my own in the joinery shop
  22. Starting the day with some Norris Reid
  23. Thanks, that makes sense 👍
  24. How does adding a shim increase the break angle at the bridge, or am I reading this wrong 🙂
