Most of our december gigs have been cancelled due to new restrictions. There's no end in sight. Blue

My band is still hanging in there. We're targeting larger unconventional venues for distancing. We're playing Washington County Fair Park on 12/4. It will be the first time in our 18 years of gigging where we will charge at the door. Blue

Depending on the band, the type of band and gigs you play ageing can get weird. I'm 67 and I notice the punters approach the other band members before me. They're all in their 30s Blue

I've continued to gig, we've had thursday. and Saturday gigs for the last two weeks. Some were ok and some were kind of deadsville. The Harley Davidson gig was a bust. I think people were cautious about coming out. Next gig 10/17 Blue

The organizers for this outside event did a good job with distancing. When we arrived the staff were drawing circles in the street setting up the distancing parameters and they had masks for everyone. Blue

I have an acoustic gig tomorrow night in Fond Du Lac at The Thelma Performing Arts Center. It's an hour and a half gig . It should be nice if we have decent weather. Blue

All of our Post Covid gigs have been outside, public and private. Social distancing for outside gigs has not been a problem except for that Beach Resort I didn't see much distancing. We have our first inside public post covid gig coming up on 9/26 at The Harley Davidson Motor. I think Harley will have strict distancing policy abd logistics in place. Blue

That's interesting, we've been gigging steadily since March. However all gigs have been outside events , public and private. We have gigs into October that are still outside. We haven't made any decisions about indoor bar gigs yet. Things might slow down by November. Blue

We played a 6:00- 9:00 private party. A couple were celebrating 15 years of marriage and renewed their vows. There were about 70 people. Good hours and above average pay. Blue

I've been off the last 2 weekends. Maple Road is back on stage this Sunday. It's an outside Country Club gig. We start at 5:00. We haven't played inside since the Covid. Side note, my friend and great guitarist/ producer of 60 years went to a an old recording studio that was selling off gear. He found a GK 400RB Ii. He sent it to me. The thing looks brand new. It's nice when you receive a gift you can actually use Blue

Separate room from the bar? We have had really bad luck with that. We will only book bar gigs when we're playing in the same room as the bar abd as close to the bar as possible. People are not going to choose us over alcohol. 😄 Blue

Maple Road had a busy weekend. We played Friday Night at a local Home Grown Music Festival in West Bend. Saturday we played A Holiday Camp gig at. The Tiki Beach Bar Resort in Campbellsport ( 4 hours). Sunday we played Hefner's 25 anniversary ( bar restaurant) in Grafton. All 3 gigs were outside. Nothing this weekend. Private gig the following weekend. Blue

I like having an extra $400.00 in my wallet from weekend gigs. It's a nice cushion. Unfortunately after summer all that might come to an end. Blue

Probably not. First of all for it would not be merely playing for free. It would mean traveling for free, loading in and out for free and setting up lights and sound for free. Even in this Covid environment I can't imagine a venue asking for services for free. Blue

Maple Road has been out gigging since March. However we have not played any traditional bar/ pub gigs. We have been playing private parties and events with budgets. We have not had to discount our services yet. We have 3 gigs next weekend, however we have nothing on the books for fall. Blue
