Hi all, Imgur link to photos https://imgur.com/a/t8wzCs0 This is a 2007 MIM Jazz 5 in Midnight Wine - the previous owner changed the pickguard to a mirrored one and added a John East J-Retro preamp. As well as this, a battery box has been professionally added to the back of the bass for quick access - very clean and well done. This bass isn't in pristine condition - there are knocks on it, including a chunk of finish that has come off near the forearm rest. I've done my best to include pictures of said features in the imgur link There is also some marking around certain parts of the pickguard. These were all here when I bought the bass off someone else, the only thing I have done is change the strings to flatwounds. Scales put this at ~4.1kg. Feel free to enquire about trades! It's gone - sorry! Putting this out for a feeler - my 5 string Ibanez SRFF805. Its got fanned frets, but they are remarkably intuitive and easy to get used to (35.5"- 34", less severe than a Dingwall). This bass is a prime example of Ibanez playability. Lightweight, ergonomic neck, very versatile, with active/passive & 3 band EQ, I have also replaced the straplocks with Schallers. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this bass and the way it plays, but the sound isn't suitable for anything I'm doing right now. The blemish on the lower horn was there when it arrived, its just the finish. I've tried to photograph any other nicks present as well. I'd prefer cash, but I'm open to cash/trade offers for 5 strings. Meetup/collection in London ideally, but shipping can be arranged.
