hi there would you be interested in swap for my 78 precision, im looking for a fretless. i put on a badass and a quarter pounder and the covers and pickguard, a set of black nylon strings for that old motown vibe. 0h and a hipshot on the e string which i could take off. and you can see the white bass clef on scratchplate,its just white tape. a few scratches as youd expect but its got the mojo. cheers. -
iv never played a fretless maple neck ,how does that sound compared to rosewood, and how does it wear. im liking the natural body and fretless neck. cheers

im looking for some advice on de fretting a jazz neck, any one got any tips on the best way to go about it what type of filler etc,, i know i should leave it to the pro,s but its the cash, so any help or advice welcomed. cheers, jimmy.

lookin for a good volume pedal to use with my effects, i need to be able to adjust my volume for solos with effects etc so i need a high gain pedal to also use for swells etc. can anyone recommend which one i should buy, they seem to vary a lot in cost. cheers , jimmy.

i would just go online to one of the guitar parts stores, and order a new nut to suit, iv never fitted a new nut but cant be difficult, it should be easy and cheap. jimmy.

hi there, just a question regarding running my amp with various cabs. I have an eden 550 and i am using a 1x 12 500 watt 4ohm cab. would it be ok for me to link up another 4 ohm cab,and then the amp would be running at 2ohms, giving me the full 750 watts from the amp.I was thinking of buying an aggie 1x12 cab to add in. I think iv got this right from the amp spec, but not being tech minded i wanted to make sure i was doing the right thing. cheers guys. jimmy.

hi there i have a 4x10 ebs bass cab for sale, great condition 4 ohm ,i bought it but havent gigged it that much, duo to the type of gigs iv been doing ,ie (2 piece band with pa support), looking to downsize and more portable cab or cabs. looking for £350. im near glasgow so pickup would be best. used it last night with eden 550 and it sounded great. cheers, jimmy.

dont know if anyone can help, but iv made a few vids and tried to put them on you tube,this time with my webcam,and the are always out of sync.tried to convert them to various formats via one of these video converter free download things,but still no joy.the help page on you tube says something about compression etc. im not really good on the pc so any help or tips appreciated. cheers folks.

hi there, im looking for a jack input for my trb 6, its been replaced before and now its doin the cutting in and out thing again. Its one of these kinda sealed ones, can any one tell me where best to order a good quality one that will last. its a pain in the butt. cheers for any help guys.

hi , i bought a harley benton accoustic bass model hbb30nt, and for the money its amazing, i dont know if this is the same model, but before i bought this i tried ibanez(crap) crafter(worse) takamine(good) i tried a taylor £1200 quid,but accoustically i couldnt hear much difference, i know theyre better made and better pre amp etc,but doing an a-b test on all the abg,guitars i could find, for the money the loudest biggest able to compete bass i could find was the harley benton. just my oppinion ,but do not go by what it says on the headstalk, just use your hands, ears, and i dont need to wrap it in cotton wool as it didnt cost £1200. jimmy. -

hi there, i have a harley benton accoustic, which i got via thomman,and for the price it s amazing. the problem i v got is the e string , its much quieter than the others, which i think may be due to some pickup prob, but i cant get at anything, and there s no string adgustment etc. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix the prob. cheers, jimmy.
