i dont know man, sometimes i think we all (myself included) get caught up in the gear thing. i like everybody else is always lookin to improve my sound, maybe iv already got my sound but cant hear it........ theres so much stuff out there , i suppose its all good and like the man says, just find something that works for you.....

I find the dha very good, great eq, and for boosting the signal, i just thought i was missing something with the fishman, but maybe not .

yeah i know, really low volume almost accoustic and all seems ok, but when u want to compete with a loud band thats when the trouble begins. wouldnt it be great to hear that total accoustic sound in all situations. neverending quest.

hi there im lookin at poss buying a fishman platinum for use with my upright and also for using with my accoustic bass guitar. iv got a realist on my upright, and a k k on the accoustic bass. iv currently got a dave hall d.i. e.q. that i use with them. will the fishman make a huge difference to my sound , iv read a lot of great reviews about it. any added info would be great, cheers, jimmy.

hi there, looking for some advice on what to buy. im using mixcraft 5 and i want to be able to record up to 4 tracks at one time, i v looked at the tascam with 2 mic inputs and 2 jack inputs but i need some advice on what would be the best way to go with it. any advice on what to buy would be greatly appreciated.

hi there, can anyone recomend a set of strings ( 6 string bass) that will cover the low end and still be light and bendy on the top to cover the guitar tones. I play in a duo and i try to use my bass to cover all the low end and also cover the chords and solo too. theres so many on the market just wondering if anyone has any workin experience of this kinda thing and would welcome any tips. cheers, jimmy.

can anyone recommend the best piece of kit for our drummer to hear the click and mix with the music track. we r using backing tracks and and im sending the click to the left side and all the music to the right . some one suggested the behringer mini amp 800 headphone amp so i want to know if theres anything else i could use. we r using a minidisc player to play the tracks. cheesrs in advance, jimmy.

great stuff mate, great song, very melodic and the musicianship is fantastic, i love when people know the exact thing to play to make the song shine. you guys obviously have great chops , and know when to use them. excellent .

hi y,all im looking for a program for editing midi files , and doing some recording too, need to be something with great onboard sounds that i can use to edit the midi files for gigging purposes. Iv looked at cubase and a few others but was wondering if theres anything out there that is cheaper and would do the job. im not very good with pc , so the simpler the better. any suggestions ? cheers, jimmy.

hi there, my main problem is that when i record more than one track in to audicity they go out of sync. iv looked on you tube (audicity problems) and they go thru the step by step guide to sync the tracks (latency) my prob is that none of the tools ie at the top of the audicity page seem to work. playing any files thru windows media etc is fine. most of the editing features are grey. i downloaded a new version of audicity but to no avai. as i said earlier i can record my first track but everything after that runs out of sync ,and it wont allow me to use the tool i need to allign the tracks. can you help at all. thanks, jimmy.
