1. Time for a bit of a clearout to raise cash otherwise Santa's not visiting anyone this year! Starting with an Electro Harmonix Micro Pog. Absolutely as new. Great pedal. Boxed, instructions, warranty card etc. Power Supply not included. These are about £130 on the web. It's literally as new so, what about 10% off less a bit for the power supply? SOLD. Next up is a Little Big Muff. Again, as new condition, in box with instructions and warranty card etc. These are about £50 on the web so, how about £38 plus £4.99 recorded delivery? Micro Q-Tron. Same story - as new condition, boxed, instructions, warranty card etc. £65 on the web so this is a bargain at £45 plus £4.99 recorded delivery. Awesome phaser on bass. Really dark texture. This one's got velcro on the back, but is otherwise in mint condition, boxed with instructions, warranty card etc. £45-£50 on the web SOLD PENDING PAYMENT. Thanks!
2. I wasn't at the show so can't comment on the specifics. I was at LIMS and if the Bass Merchant stand was twice the size of that then you can't say fairer than that from them. Maybe it was the lack of other exhibitors? I think Darren's comments are very fair. As has already been mentioned, displaying at shows like Music Live is an expense that businesses will look to cut as they tighten their belts in the current economic environment. Out of interest Darren, what's going on with Zoot cabs as I see they're no longer on your site? They were certainly impressive at LIMS.
3. It might be worth clarifying what's still available....
4. Try these guys: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/power-supplies-8-c.asp Just been looking at the new EHX pedals there. I've got one of their 15 quid jobbies and I'm really happy with it. Don't think the spec is that different to the diago - I think they're both switch mode power supplies.
5.
Do these new models run off 9V?
Some do, some don't. You can zoom the pictures to see. Frequency Analyzer and Worm don't. Muff, Voice Box, Graphic Fuzz and Signal Pad do.
6.
You might have just volunteered to stick up your thoughts in the review section.
(in his best Homer Simpson voice) DOH! The worm was on ehx's site a good few weeks ago but I didn't find anyone else selling it. The site says delivery in December so I don't think they're on the shelves just yet.
7. Just found these: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/available-soon-65-c.asp I've just ordered a Worm! Hope it's here for Xmas!
8. Can it control outboard effects? i.e. switch in or out an external pedal?
9.
Digitech pedals & P-bass black scratchplate still available...will take sensible offers
PM'd on the Digitech pedals.
10. no experience of it but you could try this - http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/12v-dc-...-supply-6-p.asp

Power banks?

Those bricks are just daisy chains in a box which take up space on your board. I've got one of these which is tiny. Had no problems with noise or anything.
12. I love my EBS compressor. Highly recommended.
13.
Can anyone reccomend a gig bag/supplier to fit a fender precision (1980 Special)? I was looking to pay about £15-20. Thanks, Tim
I think most gig bags made for bass will fit. £15-£20 isn't a lot for a decent gigbag and if you wanna protect your pride and joy then it might be worth paying even £30-£40. I like the warwick rockbag. Also look at Ritter or tribal planet.
14. Has noone mentioned the Markbass Micromark yet? 20cm cubed, 50 full watts.
15.
In my experience ampeg and markbass are worlds apart. Ampeg = Dirty gritty punchy full beef bass sound full of all that rock tone you know and love from ampeg Markbass = Cut through a mix, sounds good quality but sterile to my ears. Probably a bit more suited for the sound of the bass shining through rather than colouring it with the amp. Just my experience with the 2
If you want clean tones then ampeg and markbass can be quite similar IME. Markbass can't do overdrive or grit like the ampegs can.
16. Some really nice stuff you got there. Only trouble is that I already have most of it! Good luck with the sale.
