1. I've bought them here before.
 2.
I was going to, but they was made a very good offer by a uk retailer that saves quite a bit of money.
Can I ask how much it was? I assume it was the combo? With the way the Euro is at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if it was cheaper in the UK than thomann. Would be good to know UK street pricing.
 3.
It would appear that UK stores won't have it until early november now...great.
I thought you had ordered it from Thoman? Do they not have it then? Or are you waiting to buy it in the UK to get the warranty? I was hoping for a review by now!
 4.
I tried out the 1x10" combo in a local store last week- WOW!!!! Sounded GREAT!!!
Where did you find it? I can't find it on sale yet anywhere in the UK? I wouldn't buy from Thomann because (other than not being able try it first) UK dealers won't touch it if there's a problem under warranty. Am really interested in this. Had some great feedback over on Talkbass and, with the way the Markbass stuff has gone up in price it looks like there's a real gap in the market for this. There's a 2-part review on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jziWFSBzBk8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFPq5Yn4bVU
 5. I hope this doesn't come across as rude (it's not meant to be! . This is a great bass at a ridiculously low price. You've got someone wanting to buy it but you won't post due to a bad experience in the past. You can insure it in the post. Think about it, thousands of basses and guitars get sent in the mail or by courier every day. Sure, the odd one will get damaged or lost. But if you bump your car, does that mean you'll never get in a car again?
 6.
yeah, it was £5 inc postage. TBH, though, now that I have it, it doesn't save any space at all. The width is the same width as a normal right angled jack connecter and the 2 pedals have to have the same height of jack or it kida goes off-balance. I'll still use it for Boss TU-2 to ODB-3
Yes, the straight adaptors are only for pedals of the same make (where the input and output sockets are at the same height). You can connect pedals of different makes if you use one of the offset types, by the OP didn't want those.
 7.
LowBlow has the winner to end this ongoing saga!
I've gotta sig that!
teehehee, I've just gone and bought one of them - £5.... oomph. I'm going to feel that one later
£2.99, no? Or is that postage? You need to buy a few then cos it says it's free over twenty squid!
 8.
honestly, you need to re-make your cables! This is the second thread wherein you've completely slated George L cables yet I think you are the only person I've heard of who has a problem with them. They are so easy to make. I have three sets on my board and not one has caused me problems. If they ever do I'll just nip 5mm off each edge of cable and re-attach the plugs. I understand you'd want to share your opinion regarding them but I just thinkyou need to make them properly in the first place!
+ 1,000,000!!! I saw the other thread too. It's all well and good giving both sides of the argument. The experience of the majority would suggest that user error might be contributing to your disappointment in the product! I'm another happy George L's customer here. The improvement in tone and the professionalism it gives my board is well worth the outlay IMHO.
 9. <smug mode> Sorry I'm late to this thread. But do you mean something a little incy wincy bit like this: http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/cougar-...ector-697-p.asp </smug mode>

 12. Nano Small Stone now sold pending payment. Just the Little Big Muff and the Micro Q-Tron left.
 13. Glad the BP80 arrived safely, Jesus! Zoom Ultra Fuzz now sold pending payment. Just the Sparkle Drive left now which is BRAND NEW and an awesome overdrive on bass thanks to its clean blend.
 14. OK, further to the post here, where I was roped into doing a review my Worm arrived yesterday! Before anyone asks, I don't have sound samples so, for many of you this thread will not exist. Yet! Right, first impressions, it's a standard XO pedal. Well built compared with the older EHX stuff. Bare metal casing on the bottom and sides which some people like and some don't. Small enough to be pedalboard friendly. Graphics look quite cool. Onto controls. You've got a mode switch which takes you from Wah to Phaser to Tremolo to Vibrato. There's a range knob which controls how much of the effect is applied to your signal. Then there's the rate knob which is the speed of the phase/tremolo etc. Finally, there's an auto/manual switch. In manual mode, you can sweep the effect either by turning the range knob or, much better, by connecting an expression pedal. This is a 24V pedal but it came with a power supply so not too much hassle. Those with isolated output bricks like the BBE or the Voodoo Labs will be able to power it off two outputs of those. So, how does it sound? Pretty good, all things considered. Given it's not too dear and it offers 4 different effects, I wasn't sure how much to expect. I'm not much of one for tremolo or vibrato so my observations here are limited by a lack of experience. Nonetheless, both gave entirely usable sounds, no noise and, on moderate settings, could be used as an alternative to chorus. I bought it for the phase and the wah. Let's get this out first. The phase is not as good as a Small Stone (my personal fave phaser for bass). Not as dark as the Small Stone and doesn't seem to sweep/phase as much. But it is still good and, for me, good enough. Using it with the expression pedal is interesting. You can take it from no effect to full effect as you rock the expression pedal so can add a really different emphasis to different notes as you play. Onto the wah. I'll be honest, I was expecting an envelope filter. This is NOT an envelope filter! In EHX's words, it's a neo-modulated wah! It's what I believe is an autowah. In other words, it 'wahs' at a fixed rate and depth that you select regardless of your playing dynamics. A bit like sweeping backwards and forwards on a wah pedal continuously. It's not dissimilar to tremolo on some settings. Where it comes into its own, again, is with an expression pedal. That turns it into a really good wah pedal. No low end loss. Play out your Cliff Burton fantasies! Very controllable. Excellent part of the pedal, provided you're not expecting an envelope filter. Overall then, this pedal was in danger of being a jack of all trades and master of none. I'd say it's much better than that and I'll be keeping it. The phaser, although not going to set the world on fire, is good - just not as good as the Small Stone. I've really fallen in love with the Wah mode using the expression pedal. And while I said I'm not a Vibrato or Tremolo player, knowing they're there, I know I'll find a reason to use them for some different sounds! Despite it appearing to be a bit of a multi-effects, all the sounds are a serious step up from the multis I've tried. And it's really convenient in such a small pedal. Overall? 4 out of 5 and great for anyone that wants a wide range of useable sounds.
 15. Sale fallen through on Q-Tron so all still available other than Micro Pog.
 16.
Hi, would you sell the Micro Q-Tron for £40 and where are you based?
I've PM'd you.
 17. Thanks s Joe. The Micro Synth is a great pedal. It's just that I'm not looking for trades at the moment. So it's straight sales only, I'm afraid. Cheers!
 18. Time for a bit of a clearout (part 2!) to raise cash otherwise Santa's not visiting anyone this year! I've got a brand new condition Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. Really sweet overdrive that works particularly well on bass due to its clean blend control. Can also be used as a clean boost or anything in between. Bought for me as a present but just surplus to requirements. These are £105 on the web so I'll charge just £80 plus £4.99 recorded delivery. Next is a ToneFactor Analogue Filter 442 Red (bass version). This is identical to the Boomstick Audio Devices Bottom Feeder. One of the best filters for bass. Absolutely no low end loss. Again, in as new condition. SOLD. The highly-coveted (and rare!) Zoom Ultra Fuzz. Box is a bit battered but the pedal itself is in great condition. SOLD. A cheap entry into the world of effects. Includes a fully-featured Whammy mode for the Tool fanboys! Boxed, new, but no power supply (uses standard Boss style 9V - can even be daisy-chained). SOLD.
