1.
I know I'll regret this - a Mid-70's high-quality Japanese (personally I reckon it *might* be Uncle Mat) J-Bass neck - (I took advice from Bassassin on this) - which I've had on a couple of bodies. Extra holes have been glue-plugged. This is a great neck to 57 dimensions. As I play mostlt 5ers now, it's surplus. With all hardware. £45 collected, open to offers. Schaller Chrome 3D 4 string bridge pluss odd screws. £25 posted. Ibanez Tonelock CF7 Chorus/Flanger - £15 posted. Sold pending usual. Ibanez Soundtank CP5 Compressor - £15 posted. Schaller Volume Pedal - £25 posted. Stagg A200 Jazz guitar from my son's 'Jamie Cullum' period - lasted about 10 days. I've had a proper fret-job done on this & replaced the crap bridge with a semi-decent one. It plays beautifully & stays in tune. Currently strung with 11-58 flats. There are a few *very* light scuffs, but it's largely unmarked. There is a semi-hard (polystyrene) shaped case with this. It cost £200 plus case about 2 years ago, so I'd really like £120 collected, but open to offers. Yamaha Nathan East NE-1. Took me 2 years to find one of these in Ebay. £30 posted. I also have unphotographed a boxed matched pair of Joe Barden twin-rail humbucking Jazz Bass pickups. £110 posted. Pics later. Also have an IBM T43 laptop, XP, 2Gig RAM, 80 Gig HD, with CDROM + DVDROM/CDRW + removable 40Gig HD + 2 power supplies + 12V car voltage converter + very good Titanium effect Antler briefcase. £180 collected - open to offers. Again, pics later PM me for further details. Geoff
PM FOR NE1 PLEASE

 6.
I’ve got a 4u rackbag going spare if anyone needs one It’s a pro quality rack, lightweight & well padded - originally made up for the BBC, black with red straps and a large pocket for leads, etc. It’s certainly seen a bit of work but still perfectly serviceable and a pro piece of kit No photos at the moment (just clearing out my house prior to renting it out and no camera here at the moment), but I will take some later if anyone is interested I only want £25 for it and for that price I don’t really want to parcel it up and post it, but still not bad if anyone is passing thru the Bradford area and needs a cheap rack! Cheers – Pete
PM sent
 7.
When taking my Superfly out of the outer case, I realised you only actually need to remove the silver front facia of the outer case - then the head itself just slides out (rather than dismantling the entire case...). Quite handy.
Sorry for the late reply lads. Many thanks for the advise, removed 6 front and 2 side screws and it slid out. Greg
 8. Hi, Pleased with the unit and decided to rackmount. The unit is too heavy for the supplied rack ears with the outer case still fitted. I have heard that the unit can be stripped down to looking like a little giant. Is this true,if so,how do I strip down. Many thanks Greg
 9.
Hello, Just having a bit of a shuffle round and fancy trying a new bass, it's the only thing I have at the moment so I'd prefer a trade. Looking for something active with a narrow neck which can hopefully do a precision sound as well as a variety of other sounds? My precision is pretty much as it came out of the factory, slight indent on the rear of the headstock and there's an area of slightly thin paint on the bottom of the body which isnt damage but looks like an error at the factory which I hadnt noticed when I bought it, otherwise, it plays great, sounds great and looks well...great! What have you got? Based in the Northwest - Wirral. Cheers, Ben
Pm sent
 10.
Failing that it could just need the solder reflowing on the switch joint but I am guessing the switch cleaner will do the job. Gareth
Many thanks Gareth, I'll use my spare nex week and spend some time going over the hartke. Will let you know how I get on. Greg
 11.
Hi Greg, It is difficult to 'service' electronic equipment as they do not suffer from mechanical issues like a car etc. The only thing that could be done is to check the solder joints and maybe the sockets etc. I would suggest that if there are no problems with the amp then I would leave it as it is. Regards Gareth
Many thanks Gareth, There is a slight fault now and agin, some gigs I use full range and some biamp. Now and again the amp crossover does not activate. I have to fiddle with the biamp/full range switch or power off and the back on. Imight try some switch cleaner. Greg
 12. Hi, I'm considering having this great amp serviced as I now have a spare amp. Does anybody have any information on price/turnround /what the service involves. Thanks Greg

 14.
I'm considering trading my Squier CV 60's P Bass due to a preference for a Jazz style neck. Its only 5 months old so its in excellent condition although there are a couple of tiny dings to the bottom of the bass. The bass sounds lovely and was purchased after it gave a few MIM's an arsewhooping in tone terms but I'm not playing it enough to justify it hanging around. For trades I'm looking for a Jazz Bass- Fender or otherwise. If anyone has a CIJ Jazz I'd be very interested in doing a deal and same goes for a Sandberg. I'm willing to consider other offers, just hit me up with any offers. If anyone wants pics of it let me know. Cheers, Liam
PM Sent
 15. Thaks to all of you, I ended up going out early last night and did not get chance to see reply's. I shall try once again tonight. Pete, it's not a hummer!!!!!! so thats good. Greg
 16.
Shouldn't need the master up beyond 12 O'clock then - it'll have yer trousers off otherwise! A couple of other "features"... The gain control is measured in dB for some reason, & just goes round & round & round. When you switch off, unplug the mains lead but leave the speaker cables plugged in, then switch it back on for about a minute. The power supply capacitors take an age to bleed down otherwise, & if your fingers stray too near the mains input socket you can get a surprising belt! What Bass? I have a handy P preset if you want. Pete.
Many thanks for this help pete, I tend to use only 3 of my collection , Fender PB OR Jazz + Status s1, It's the status I'm using tonight. Any custom settings would be of help Thinking about the editing, It seems pointless to have the laptop to edit when it's only benifit is to alter the para and comp?I would eq to the gig, Am I right Greg
 17.
Greetings, Yes, it needs to be powered up to use the editor. As far as I can make out you can only save single presets, not dump the lot into one file (which is a bit daft). As to factory reset, don't worry. Presets 01-10 (or it might be 00-09, I forget) *are* the factory settings, they're protected & can't be overwritten. Have fun installing the software! (I **think** it's one of those where you need to install the app, then reboot, then connect the amp - but it's been a while). Hope you don't have a hummer, mine has a very low level whistle on one channel which I suspect is clock breakthrough. It's not noticeable at a gig & seems to occur only when I use the speakon connector. If I plug a 1/4" jack in the amp it's fine. What cabs, how big's the venue? Pete.
Hi Pete, Thanks for the info, I will be using SWR 15" + SWR 2X10, hartke 5500 biamp head is the norm, but will have a quick dabble with tha ashdown. Only a pub gig tonight Greg
 18. Welcome friend, You will enjoy this site and it's members!!!
 19. Hi, Just bought one of these this week and will test it tonight at a gig. All my cabs are flightcased in our van so,fingers crossed I dont end up with a hummer. Does the amp have to be powered up in order to us the edit software and make a backup and is there a factory reset procedure? Thanks Greg
