4. Hi all, I've recently got the bat out of it's case, not used it since 2017 and still in tune. Anyway, this week I found a stand on Amazon. It's very sturdy, well made and fits the B2a perfect. It's advertised as a Uke/Violin stand and cost £12 free postage. Absolutely made up, I've been looking for a stand off and on since the 80s Pics attached
 5. Hi All ! I recently purchased a second hand Hohner B2A bass. It has the DB bridge fitted. My problem is that I am not able to detune lower than "D#". I found a PDF nammed "Steinberger DB Bridge User Guide" on the internet that confirms I was doing the right procedure. I tune the E string as normal, using the rear thumbscrew, whilst the detune leaver facing forward towards the fretboard. 1.To set the drop tuning, I Flip the leaver towards the rear of the bass. 2. I then turn the top thumb screw anticlockwise to detune but it will not go any lower than "D#". 3. Then when I return the flip leaver to the normal E tuning position, nothing happens, it is still at the D#. Any ideas ? Thanks ! Greg
 6. Hi All, When connected to the transmitter, when you turn the volume pot on the bass up or down, there is a loud scratching and popping sound. The sound is typical of a dirty pot. The G2 AF peak also lights up. I have tried different basses but the problem still exists. Could it be the lead? is the wiring different? I loaned the unit to my son and have not used it for about 2 years until now. Thanks for any advice

I bought a set of 4, they were about £5 each. I shall have a root,as I have them in a jiffy bag with the delivery note. I can't remember the company name, only they are based in the West country. I shall get back to you. Greg

 15. Hi, Thanks for looking. Ihave been reading the led description of switching on the status price list. Front and side led switching says as follows: 1.Side only on 2.Front and side on 3.All off My bass led configiuration 1.Front only on 2.Front and side on 3.All off Is this right? or was it a design on the Mk 1. I would much rather have the option of side led,s on only. Is it a simple task of changing the wiring on the switch or not. Many thanks Greg

 17.
Should do, my S2 Classics came with Duracell Pro batteries in from the Status factory and I've got normal Duracell in my older S2. Pretty sure the Kingbass uses the same Gotoh battery box so shouldn't be a problem. The batteries last forever for the preamp.
Many thanks, all sorted with duracell. Greg
