And dropped off a Sire Marcus Miller v7 version 2 vintage jazz.So far i'm lovin it,really nice neck and some nice sounds coming out. The truss rod needed a tweek as the strings were sat a little high for my liking sorted that out so it's just about right for me. Can't understand sire not providing an instruction booklet of some sort,but it's all available online i suppose so no real set back. Here's me hoping this relationship will develop into some meaningful love affair,and i'm sure it will.

Next Level.In peoples opinions what would need to acquire to take me up to the next level of being able to hold my own in a band. I am currently in a band of sorts which does rock n roll covers but i am starting to get boarded with it slightly so i may decide to branch out a little but i don't think my gear is good enough to be honest..Here's what i currently own and play... 1/Yamaha BB424X .2/Ibanez sr500. 3/Ashdown 100 amp combi. Basically this is all i use at the moment ,but i feel i need to upgrade. So what should i be looking to buy to take me up a notch. I have a budget of 600 squid at my disposal so help me out.......

Yep take your point about my BB and i love it bits,i also i have an Ibanez SR500 which i equally love to bits as well.I play in 60s/ Rock n roll type band and the BB has served me well for that genre,maybe i should try and impart a more rounded sound into the band by going for the Jazz,?what do you think.

Hi all, As some will be aware there's a switch on this guitar which lets you use the Neck Pick up,or the Bridge Pick Up,or Both which is the middle setting. What's happening is the Bridge Pick Up setting isn't working...?Anyone shed any light into what needs doing to fix it.

Not having much luck and it won't be happening to day anyway,the RCA connectors need to be connected up to a v amp or Pedal as far as i can see ..Looky here.

I am trying to connect my Guitar up to my Pc using a Behringer UCA202 which i have had sat in my draw for gods knows how long.Anyway because i have no amp at the moment so i thought i would give it a whirl but i haven't the foggiest where to start. ?Can anyone help with how this thing connects up to PC.

Well this has got me stumped which doesn't take a lot with anything electrical so it's gone back to G4M for a warranty repair,Wouldn't expect a speaker blowing after only 6 months of use and it's never been had the volume knob over half way since i've had it.

Yes i was thinking the same thing but ironically enough it working fine before i started using my phone as an MP3 and headphones for silent practice. ?Does anyone know how to check the fuse on these things.

Good Evening All, I have recently been using my phone as an MP3 player plugged into the aux in socket and practising with my over ear headphones so i don't disturb the wife's TV viewing. Any i may have plugged and unplugged the phone when the amp is still switched on..?Could this damage the speaker . The speaker is now making funny farting type noises especially when plucking lower notes to the point where it is basically unplayable ,so i fear that i have knackered something on the Amp. ??Can anybody suggest what i may have done. Amp is only just over six months old and purchased by myself brand new from G4M. PS..If this post is on the wrong thread feel free to move it.

Thanks for the link ,i've been toying with the idea for a while now about acquiring something like this,but the price is putting me off slightly ?any suggestions of something close as this but cheaper.I currently play a Yamaha 424 x which has a 40 mm nut width i believe and now i'm used to this width but don't really want to increase the nut width but love the p bass sound as i'm old school,anyway i'm blabbering now.

One particular gig that really stands out for me is..Thin Lizzy 1979 spa royal hall Bridlington,right at the front watching Phils very closely trying to work out what he was doing actually playing a Bass with a pick and i'm still useless now nearly 40 years on.......
