Cheers peeps. i appreciate the advice.

Hey peeps i am looking for a set of strings that give that really slack feel. I have been testing a few new Basses recentley & noticed that some of the set ups i've really enjoyed the feel of have strings on that feel really soft & slack. Sorry to ask such a silly question but i just honestly dont know this, am am looking to replace my strings sometime during the week & would like some recommendations please. Cheers

I have been on the opposite side of this situation: Was in a band with two guitarist's & a drummer. new singer comes in really good, then one day after practice went to pub for usual erm post practice booze up & bam the two guitarist tell me that they dont like him & want him out of the band: went on to tell me they both could'nt stand the sight of him & just dont want to carry on with him in the band. Guess who got to tell him ? yep because i used to box & he was a big lad i was the one who had to tell him. but i did it face to face. and what made it worse was i actually liked the guy. Sometimes mate it's not the entire band

Bloody hell that death waltz is a bit busy. your buggered if you lose your place in that lot

Hi Peeps I've recentley been playing/learning "Money" By The Mighty Pink Floyd & found that it's just a fun & rewarding bass line to play. for some reason it make me smile. So now i'm looking for something else thats just fun & rewarding to learn. can anyone recommend me some new stuff ? i like most types of music but after doing "Get up & Jump" from the Chillies i just feel a little burned out....lol

Hey man well i really like them. Like you say, big differance from a load of people trying (And usually failing to look not interested) against some urban direpaired wall somewhere. You have made an effort . I like them.

I vcan never make my mind up about Leeds shops, the Bass stuff just is so thin on the ground....kind of get sick of driving just to see they havent got hardly anything Bass related. I think unless it's a Bass i'll just stick to shopping online

Bloody hell theres more than i realsied in this budget range. A good mate asked me to find him a Bass for that cash & i am looking to upgrade as well. simular budget but i always say set a budget & then stretch it to the best you can lol I am more looking for something with deep tone that i can then make nice & clanky (Fender Jazz sounding) for the funky bass lines, to be honest i'm more into what a bass sounds like than looks (Although there are exceptions). My mate on the other hand is looking for a easy Bass to play, so i guess a thin neck & light body. I'm not that fussed as long as i sounds nice & i wont be looking to change anytime soon then i would be happy Again people thanks for advice & pointers, it's really appreciated. I'll e-mail me mate see what he wants to do & start budgiting for my own purchase.
