I made the schoolboy error of blundering into Off Topic for some reason. I shan't be doing that again. I have to ask myself, why does that whole subforum exist on this site anyway? I see no need for it myself. YMMV IMHO of course

Off Topic is great. Calls for it to be scrapped are frequent - and usually loudest from people who don't go there.

I say if you don't like Off Topic, just ignore it. No-one is forcing you to read or post there!
