I wouldn't mind trying one but cant find a dealer who stocks them, or has a price. They've all got the drum cases
The drummer in my band uses these I'll ask him

+1 To all of the above. I did try to get a Lincoln bass forum going a while back via the Lincoln bands site. Turned out to be me and a guy called Steve from Saxilby

Hello all, wanted to get some pearls of wisdom concerning my purchasing a back up bass. Currently have a Fender Jazz Japanese All Blk, very nice too, thought about trading it a while back, that would be a mistake. I love it. I used to own an ash bodied Warwick Corvette STD 5. I really liked it, the only problem was it had one string too many for how i play and well I like to keep things simple. So I sold it. I'd love a 4 string version as a back up or an alternative to my jazz for certain tunes I guess. However, I have a limited budget so was wondering, how much of a difference in build quality is there between a german made Corvette and the Rockbass equivalent? I get confused about this all the time, sone folk swear they have Squiers as good as American Fenders or MIM better than a MIJ. I appreciate it's all subjective. I recently bought a Chinese made Ibanez and you could tell the build quality was not great, the strings weren't symmetrical on the fret board and the neck didn't quite sit right in the pocket, the strings seemed a mile away from the board at the dusty end, those sorts of things. just wondered if anyone had any thoughts, I've not ever had my hands on a Rockbass before. Cheers Gary
Squire Standard P bass with P/J pups. Had recent set up, plays very nicely. No gig bag or case I'm afraid, but if posted will be securely packed. Happy to deliver up to 25 miles from north dorset, or can be collected.
What's the neck like? a Jazz or P neck?
What is the neck like on this? It looks like it should be beefy, but Ibanez have a skinny habit.
Neck feels pretty chunky to me, sits in the pocket ok. Just never felt confy playing to me, but I am used to a Jazz bass so maybe only to be expected

Hi there, I'm looking to trade the Ibanez Jet king I bought only the other week off of Thinman from this very forum. Ideally i'd like something akin to a Squier P (a Squier P for instance ) The bass is in mint condition, hardly used and new they retail for somewhere between £250.00 to £280.00 ish. Tried, just didn't get on with it. I've tried P basses before and this feels different, nice looker mind So obviously I'm looking at a used bass of a similar price tag as I'd rather not complicate anything with cash. Anything considered but if you fancy this and have a Squier P then all the better Here are some pics Cheers Gary
