5. Hello all, thanks again to everyone below for the advice regarding pricing this bass. It's now up for grabs and I've posted some piccies of it. I'm looking for the very reasonable price of £250.00. It could use a new B string, the other four strings are all newly on. I'd prefer (wouldn't everyone who sells an instrument on here) the buyer to pick up (I live in Lincoln) but I'm prepared to courier it if the buyer foots the bill. If I don't get any joy on here I'll ebay it but would prefer it to go to a fellow bass chatter Any questions, please do ask, but I'm not the most technically minded bass player on here, but I'll do my best. Cheers
 6. Thanks for the reply, little distant for me \I'm in the east Midlands, but I'd not rule it out
Somebody previously mentioned a summer course in Brighton which sounded fun -- I don't know where you're based, though. bimm.co.uk Might go myself Cheers Mark
7. Hell fellow Bass Chatters. Just wondering if anyone knows of any residential or weekend courses you can turn up with your bass and get a few pointers to work on? Cheers

 10. Hi there, I play bass in a covers band, I'm not much further on than a beginner really and I've been trying to find a suitable bass tutor in Lincoln where I live. I haven't found anyone suitable yet. The guitarist in my band recommended a workshop or residential tuition course. I've had a look but not been able to find anything, just wondered if any of you guys out there might know of any suitable courses for a novice player or if any of you in my area knew of a good tutor? Thanks
 11. Yeah have a bump on me, what wouold you consider if you were to add courier costs on top too?

 17. Good day everyone. I've just acquired a Warwick Corvette Standard five in ash ans have also got myself a tin of Warwick surface finisher. Before I start waxing her up, anyone got any "top tips" for how much I should use and how often it needs waxing?. Any other Warwick owners out there can give me a few pointers? Cheers

 20. Hi there, I've searched the net but can't seem to find anywhere that sells wax for my Warwick Corvette Standard 5, so wondered if you guys might know of a place I can get hold of some (or indeed a suitable alternative). It's the ash body. Thanks
 21.
As everyone else has said, it depends on the electronics. If it's got a decent pre in it and good pickups then it's a good amount of bass for the money. I remember shortly after i bought my corvette standard 4 (for £598 new) i saw the same bass on sale for £530, still thought i'd got a good deal though. What electronics are in it, and did you get the old ones with it? (you could sell those on).
I'd have to have a look, yeah thanks for the replies fellas, i have to say I'm not unhappy cos it is a fabulous sound bass so as you rightly point out, value is very personal cheers
