1. Hello all, I;m selling my Ashton BA 400 bass rig head and cabs. On wheels, bit of cosmetic scratching but in very very good nick. It's pick up only as it's way too big to courier I'm in Lincoln, would be prepared to meet half way for petrol. Sure we could work something out. I'm after somwhere in the region of £350.00. I'm also willing to consider a swap of some desription looking for something decent a combo somewhere in the 150 - 200 watt region. I'm downsizing
 2. Hi, I'm doing this the wrong way round not to mention shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, however, I've just bought a second hand Warwick Corvette Standard 5 in ash with tweaked electonics and a gig bag for £580.00. The bass sounds really great through my Ashdown rig. Just wondered what you guys thought in terms of how good a deal I've got? Cheers

 4. Thanks for the reply I'll have a look see
Blimey, the million dollar question! And of course the correct answer is... there is no correct answer. Distortion is an incredibly personal effect, and what sounds perfect to one person can be an unusable heap of junk to another. This is a subject that pops up weekly, and if you use the search box at the bottom of this forum and search for distortion you'll find stacks of threads with suggestions. A decent place to start is http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=10639 Reasonably priced stuff off the top of my head: Boss ODB-3, Ibanez Phat hed, Digitech Bad (or Badder) Monkey, Nobels Bass Overdrive, Danelectro fabtone, Dod 250...
5. Hi there, I'm loooking for a reasonably cheap, easy to use distortion and overdrive pedal. Wondered if you guys could advise me as to what the best pedals out there are? Cheers
 6. Hi there, I'm Mzungu71. I'm in a covers band in Lincolnshire. Use a Fender Jazz bass as my prefered bass and a big beefy Ashton Bass rig. Looking for advice on a decent but cheap and simple to use distortion/overdirve pedal. Oh and hello everyone Cheers
