    Thanks guys. Gonna see what the best price is. The electronics could be shot, the neck warped, truss rod busted, so could be looking at just a body.

    Calm down dear LOL. No was just a thought, had room to move the bridge back and the thought popped into my head. A new neck could be done (Shuker) but maybe later down the line.....who knows ?

    I may take the plunge. I don't think its gonna be a direct drop in. May have to fill & re-drill to mount this. Any tips on mounting a bridge from scratch ?

    I think the 4 string bridges are 5 holes and the 5 string bridges are 6. Thinking it maybe a bit to big.

    I think there may be a slight bend at the back of the bridge. Anybody recommend a good replacement ?

    Had this bass for nearly 20 years, and noticed the bridge at the back appears to be lifting from the body. Not to sure if I've smacked it off something or someone.......so was gonna get a new bridge. The current bridge is a Gotoh copy, 6 screw mounting, would a Hipshot Kickass do the trick ? And would it be a straight swap ? Cheers peeps.

    Its the modding bit I'm mainly interested in, I don't mind it as is, just incase theres some more 'oOOOmmphh' I could add to it. if it doesn't work out I could sell it on.

    Kinda got the bug now. I recently done the Big muff pi volume mod with great results and now wanna try another mod. I've got a Boss ODB3 that I just use for home and I wanna give it a nudge. Anyone done one of these kits ? Is there any pitfalls i should be careful of ? and, is it all worth it ? Cheers, Paul
