1. This beautiful sunburst bodied with Maple neck was won by my Guitarist in a recent competition by Ernie Ball. I chose the spec (Ray 34CA 3TS) for the bass from the catalogue with the intention of having this as my back up, but my loyalty to Lakland won ! So surplus to requirements. I tried it at the prize giving after Albert Lee passed the bass over and it's been in its bass ever since These are £759.00 at GAK Unable to post any pics on here at the moment but will email across.
2. Immaculate condition, just some polish swirls that always show up on the back of black basses! Black & Maple These are £320 @ GAK Absolute bargain at this price. Can't add any pics at the moment on here, can send via email on request
3. Reasonable condition, bit of fluffing on the carpet. Nothing major. Great cab for the money Collection only (Essex) Pic of similar, actual is in storage.
4. As new, only used by me at rehearsals at our exclusive rehearsal facility. Still has most of the cling film wrapper around it. New been out of the building since it came out the box earlier this year. These are £600 new @ GAK !! Only selling as I've just acquired a Markbass 2x15 & I use my Markbass 810 for gigging. Collection only from Essex
5. Been an avid fan of Markbass gear now for around 8 yrs and I bought this as I needed to have a separate head rig as opposed to a combo and a extentsion that I'd been using. So I bought this head from here and it's absolutely great. Can really put my Markbass 810 and my Marshall 810 ( see seperate ad) through their paces ! My band has now jumped on the European Festival Bandwagon and I have to carry spares of just about everything, So having picked up a Little Mark 3, again via Basschat, I was on the look out for a 800 watt head, not fused if it was tube or not.... So along came a New Little Mark 800 at a good price, so that has made my Tube 500 surplus to requirements. It's in great condition and has always been boxed in a flightcase when not in use. Totally reliable and sounds awesome. £380, not looking for trades, other than maybe a Markbass 4 x 10 cab Edited by Dusty, Today, 09:18 PM.

10. Used solely by me for rehearsing at my bands rehearsal room and has still got the cling film wrapped around most of it !! These are £600 new @ GAK, I'm asking £300 for it - collection only from Essex

12. How about this one ? http://bit.ly/16AVXNG
13. If it had the Jazz 'dot' neck, I'd be after it,
14. Thanks guys, some good constructive comments and have learnt so much from the links posted... Cheers
15. Anyone heard any stories about how 4G is 'potentially' go to cause chaos with wireless systems. Was talking with my sound tech guy about buying myself in ear monitoring as I'm so bass deaf now, I cant hear what I'm playing anymore one the band kicks in ! I've tried wired and it works a treat. Anyway, was told not to buy anything yet, until they sort out the issues with 4G over powering old style TVs and Freeview sets/boxes and other wireless systems. He claims its a real mess out there !!
16. Spoke with Lufthansa on Monday....... Yes you can take your musical instrument onto the plane and if there's 'room' in the business class locker, we will put the guitars in there, if not it will have to go in the hold (at my risk) !! Btw, there will be a €75 excess baggage fee each way if it does !! B%^*+^}$
17. That's a 44-01 with twin soap bars, not an 44-02 (unfortunately)
18. I'm off to a festival in Hamburg in a few weeks, anyone had any experience with Lufthansa ??. Going to put mine in the hold in a pukka flight-case, cant take the chance of trying to get it in the cabin in a gig bag, only to be told its going in the hold !
19.
Most of the attack, definition and pitch information from bass is in the mid and high frequencies. Foam plugs will make the issue worse. In ear monitoring will probably be the only way to go if you've lost those frequencies. If you sing then you need the 'vented' ER plugs. They should allow the air to move around when you move your jaw and prevent the plugs from moving about.
In ear monitoring..... I like the sound of this, I've got a decent wired headphone amp we used in a cabaret band a few years back with shure ear pieces. If this works I will go wireless
20. It's sad, but true !!! I just hope someone bails them out. There's a lot of good people in there. Fingers crossed.
21. Thanks Joey, will check out boots. The foam ones are great for protection purposes and for a few pence a pack you can't go wrong, but my hearing is shot a certain frequencies due to years of engine testing without protection, even at low volumes I struggle to hear myself over anyone else
22. I've just looked at these and they seem very good, plus some good positive comments on this thread, but very pricey to pay on the off chance they might work ! Do you need to go to a specialist to get these ?
23. I'm really struggling now to hear my bass on stage & in rehearsal. I play in a heavy metal band and stand between a powerhouse of a drummer to my right & Full Marshall stack to my left. I use a Markbass LMT into an 8x10 and can't hear it over the din. I know my hearing is damaged to some extent (verified) but I need to do something. It's not that my rig is not powerful enough as the band complain I'm to loud. I understand that bass frequencies travel in a funny wave form so are louder further away from the source, but that doesn't help me stood right in front of the bass rig. I've tried normal industrial ear plugs which does help to dampen the noise of the snare and guitar next to me, but I still can't hear myself. Is it possible to get plugs that will cut certain frequencies (snares, cymbals & guitars) allowing me to hear my bass better ? Cheers
24. As stated !! What have you got ??
