  1. some mold has appeared in my music room, any ideas how dangerous this might be for my basses? Keep em in the case instead of hanging on a nearby wall?

      I'd agree on the dehumidifier as a solution - also, try to ensure some ventilation and air circulation in the room.  I hate mould and have a bit of an obsession.  I have two dehumidifiers running and try to keep humidity at around 50.  Also as noted above, there are some good mould removers around.  Astonish mould remover is very good and usually cheap.  Wear gloves and again, ensure there's ventilation.  Astonish doesn't smell quite as strong as some mould removers but it's powerful if you're in a confined space
