  1. Still for sale: surprise me with an offer I can’t resist!
  2. Fantastic Fender Elite V series (the latest with improved N4 pickups, preamp, truss rod etc.) in great condition including OHSC.
  3. Thanks Peter!!
  4. '...but it will still be missing a string whichever way I look 😁' It's 5 notes difference only... 5 strings are cool, I play them too, but I wonder why more often lately..
  5. I can easily put a low B or high C on it so you have the additional range you desire with the comfort of a four string... .
  6. Photo's are just taken with my iPhone in subdued light (closed curtains during the day to avoid to much reflection) without any photoshopping etc. It really is that beautiful!
  7. Hi Tom, I checked the Yamaha serial number dater and I'm quite sure this one is from 1986. The bass has some superficial tiny scratched which even might disappear with polishing... anyway it has been played but the condition is fabulous. Things like the bridge and the pickup covers are like new. Let me know if you want t know anything more. Oh yes, the bass is technically 100%. The truss rod works smooth and fine. The electronics are perfect etc.
  8. To BB or not to BB... that is the question question...
  9. For sale: delicious Japan built Yamaha BB3000 from the 80's. No issues. Great condition. Light/great balance. No case: can arrange for a generic one if desired (€50). Nut width is 39,5mm which is smaller than the more usual 44mm. The weight is about 3821 grams on my kitchen scale. Not 100% accurate, but it is a light one for sure. Definitely something special and likewise the BB2000 from this decennium. Shipping at expense/risk buyer well packed worldwide. Need I say more? Let me know!
  10. Don’t let the looks of this bass fool you.. it’s not a Geddy.... it’s a better quality definitely... comparing it is a better sound and feel than the realitively new American Professional series and on par with the Elite or even CS. But whatever.. it is a great beautiful black bass in it’s own right!
  11. Fender American Vintage (AVRI) 1974 Jazz Bass built in the USA around 2013 in great condition including nice OHSC and 'ashtrays'. No issues. The bass looks fantastic and the narrow U-shaped neck is a race track, The sounds truly is like an early seventies JB. What is not to like? Shipping well packed (almost) anywhere at buyers expense and risk. Any questions? Let me know! Thanks for looking. Bassed regards, Willem
  12. Fender Jazz Bass American Professional V 2017 gigged three times only. Some small signs of playing but other than that like new. These new Fender series are really good and have great value for money. Two Michael Bump-designed V-Mod single-coil Jazz Bass pickups replaced by Liny Fralins with overwound bridge pickup for a fatter 'Jaco' -sound. I will sell/ship the original V-mods with the bass. Also I can re-install them and keep the Lindy Fralins. Then the bass costs €1250. The V-mods are a bit more modern sounding and the Fralins more traditional. Slim modern “C”-shaped neck profile Bone nut; 20 narrow-tall frets for familiar playing feel HiMass™ Vintage bridge for increased sustain Fluted-shaft tuning machines Posiflex graphite rods for neck reinforcement Includes Elite Molded hardshell case Adjustable +/- 19mm spacing, low action (G 1,5 mm), 4259 grams on my kitchenscale, well balanced... Why selling? I've got too many great (high end) basses and got to 'kill some darlings'. This bass is worth every single €, £ or $!' Other questions? Let me know! Thanks for looking, Willem
  13. Different..... neckshape, pickups, preamp, truss rod, tuners... Quite a different bass I guess
  14. No need for that. I ám the light.
  15. The Netherlands, in a lovely town called Hilversum!
  16. Thanks for your suggestion. I know de GHier basses are great I even had one too. But I have a very nice old BB2000 Yamaha which is enough fretless for me!
  17. The Fender P bass '78 is in The Netherlands!
  18. Make me an offer Gianlu!
