1. Sorry i'm all set for pedals atm, looking for a straight sale.
2. Right up for sale are two items. First is my Warwick Deluxe Double Gig Bag. I don't have two basses that fit in it anymore. Its in very good condition, only being used to move two basses to and from uni. I can't find a price online for this, iirc i got it for around £75. SOLD! pics here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/squirrelguru...MHT5vK546yN8wE# Second item is a Gotoh D-tuner that I bought but never fitted to my bass. Its black, got some faded paint on it but its fully functional. SOLD! pics here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/squirrelguru...feat=directlink Updates with pics Both have been sold!
3. Ibanez SB-7 synth bass pedal. - comes with box & manual! I've had this lying around for a few years i keep telling myself i'll use it but never do. On Hold - Pending usual. Pics: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/squirrelguru...feat=directlink Edit: found the manual - was in the box.... also pics added
4. Pics can be now found here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/squirrelguru/FNA02# I had to just check which preamp I had in the bass (not played it in a while). It has a bartolini NMBT -3 band preamp in the bass currently. The previous owner had the original replaced because the stock seymour duncan was defective (had a crazy low signal output). I've patched up the original preamp, it had the wrong value volume pot. I'll include the original preamp + all the parts so anyone can swap them over if they want too. Strap locks are Schaller strap locks and not warwick. Only other issue is the JAN II the tabs have snapped but its purely a cosmetic issue. Just need to be careful not to lose the nut when re-stringing. Nut iis fully functional - its a flaw in the JAN II design. I've adjusted the original post with this information.

6. I'm not really playing 5 strings and since i got a buzzard its now pretty much my go to bass. So I have my 5 string Warwick FNA up for sale. Pics can be now found here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/squirrelguru/FNA02# Bass was cleaned up and since i've had it not been gigged after cleaning it up. you can see from the pics its in great condition. Its amazingly light and balances superbly (lightest and best balanced Warwick i've played). and a fantastic bass, if it wasn't the buzzard i'd be keeping it! Specs: Body - Flamed Maple top, Ash back Neck - Ovankgol FB - Wenge I had to just check which preamp I had in the bass (not played it in a while). It has a bartolini NMBT -3 band preamp in the bass currently. The previous owner had the original replaced because the stock seymour duncan was defective (had a crazy low signal output). I've fixed up the original preamp, it had the wrong value volume pot which would have accounted for the low output. The original preamp is included so anyone can swap them over if they want too. Strap locks are Schaller strap locks and not warwick ones. Only other slight issue is the JAN II the tabs have snapped but its purely a cosmetic issue. Just need to be careful not to lose the nut when re-stringing. Nut is fully functional - its a flaw in the JAN II design. I am looking for £500 in a straight sale. ****************UPDATES!!! **************** I'm throwing in my set of 5 string TI flats - only 2 months old only been on the bass maybe 4 days - still sound like new. So you get the bass, 2 preamps, a set of flats, some worn in EMP's, and a case + ofc the straplocks! First MP3's - strings are some worn in EMP's. Song i played was the first minute of Streetlight Manifesto - A Better Time, A Better Place - not my best attempt for sure but it gives you a good idea on the sounds. Recorded through the DI on my tecamp 500 set flat into audacity via focusrite saffire LE audio interface. Track 1 preamp engaged but set flat, Track 2 preamp bypassed Track 3 mids (800hz) boosted Track 4 bass cut a little, mid switch (250hz) engaged and boosted and treble boosted. I will string the bass with the TI flats and redo the songs with them to get a feel for flats on the bass.
7. Did a trade with him last Saturday, very friendly and great guy to deal with. Enjoy the thumb Man!

9. Just re-looked through the pictures, and the bass has had a fresh waxing and good clean since they were taken back in September. I can't get new pics up due to lack of a camera at uni. So just imagine everything is shiny where there is dust/wax build up
10. Bass is up for sale again! Currently residing with me at uni in york, and still not being played so thought i'd put it back up and see what happens!
11. Very true! These are seriously good basses. Right i've got to get my gear packed up for uni, so unless someone really wants this bass, i think its best i withdraw it now to avoid a rushing the sale before leaving for uni.
12. Bump I really would like this bass to be sold before sunday, when i am returning to uni. As such i am prepared to accept reasonable offers I would like something in the region of £750 + P&P. I will concider any serious offers, but i'm not prepared to give the bass away. If it doesn't sell by sunday i will most likey withdraw the bass.
13. Another bump! The bass will be moving up to york, with me when i return to uni - in a week or so. Opens up the possibility for personal delivery if your on the way if postage is an issue!
14. Bumpy Bump. Lowest i am willing to let this go for is £750 + P&P! - anyone interested?
15.
Speaking from experience, there are: 1. Crap cheap basses 2. Outstanding cheap basses 3. Crap expensive basses 4. Outstanding expensive basses
+1 For me it comes down to build quality and in general the better the build quality the more you pay. I'd never get something that is or feels badly or really cheaply made. I want some quality to my basses. By quality i don't mean basses with loads of bells and whistles and all fancy wood - they fall in the 'it's nice to own nice things bit' imo. If its built well and sounds good and i like the look (i'm a shallow person!) its a bass i'd consider buying. Its only then i'd factor in the cost and if its within my budget. Now i've found to satisfy this i need a mid level to upper mid ranged bass.
16. I've bought a few things from them and have had mix experiences, nothing very bad mind. When i've rung them they have been helpful and have responded to emails quickly that said ordering by phone i think is the best way to avoid any of the problems other people have mentioned.
17. FINAL PRICE = £350 + Shipping I can't go any lower than that on this.
18. Well ebay did nothing i'm not going to re-list just yet, so the thumb is back here and available for sale. I need to have this bass sold ideally before i return to uni, in october, as i need the cash for rent! New Reduced price: £800 inc P&P shipped anywhere in the UK - i can negotiate a little on this!
