1. I own a Squier jazz classic vibe bass and a Squier p bass Matt Freeman model. I replaced the original pick ups on the jazz, hardly used and want to replace the Squier p bass pups. What sale price can I expect for these?
2. Seymour Duncan SPB-4 pick ups
3.
There are a few isolated bass tracks on YouTube. If you listen, you will here how sloppy he is! Poor. If they are him? Which I think they are! http://youtu.be/23YO8ijT4Ao http://youtu.be/qSYuse9o8KI
You might think he is sloppy, but neither you or any other bassist out there have as much as passion, drive and determination to achieve what Steve Harris has . I've listened to different bass isolated tracks by other artists but I love Steve's style. He is unique and his isolated tracks, if it's him, sound raw and powerful.
4. I've had this bass for nearly three months and I am blown away with the sound especially when playing IM songs. It still has the strings it came with, but may change tgem and put Rotos on.
5. I have a jazz more versatile, but use only my PB. The sound is just what I like.
6. What's your band called?
7. At the moment?! The moment has been two year long now. Steve Harris P bass in Royal blue. Unfortunately I bought Squier p bass Matt Freeman two weeks ago so I wouldn't be able to justify buying it if one came up. Or would I?

This bass sounds awesome when playing Iron Maiden songs. The tone button responds well when playing other stuff which I am not good at.

Mynew PB

Finally my new Squier PB arrived. It's the Matt Freeman signature, but who cares. I simply like the lacquered maple neck and vintage white. It sounds awesome with the strings it came. Once i were them out I'll put rotos on.
11. Glad thete is lots of good reviews on this bass. I own Squier vibe jazz bass and is awesome. Although i changed the pups to Seymour Duncan and nevet gave original ones a proper chance. Could be psychological.
12. Thanks mate. I probably won't have time to recycle the bass bix when it arrives
13. Most players set the saddle, trust rod etc. I noticed there's a slight curve on my jazz bass neck due to chunky roto strings i use. Of course it plays out the box, but everyone talks about setting up. I personally lower the action.
14. I have ordered one too. I ordered a white one, they delivered a black one yesterday. The box even said vintage white. I called the shop and they should deliver one tomorrow. Another day wasted waiting, hopefully itll e worth it. How do I set up the bass. Never set one up.
15. Where are you from?
16. I want to keep the sound of the bass the same as jt comes out my bass amp, especially through head phones the sound is amazing.
17. Thanks guys.It appears that Focusrite is more suitable than Line 6.
18. I started experimenting with recording. So far I got as far as recording bass and guitar on Audacity via laptop mic in front of amp. Reminds me garage recording when In was 17 on a double cassette stereo tape player/ recorder with slightly better quality. Obviously this comes with lots of unwanted sounds as the work is done in the living room. I read lot of good info about Focusrite scarler currently comes with free mic and headphones retails around £149. I went to my local store and I was recommended the line 6 pod studio ux2, comes with lots of extra such a s pre amps, stomp boxes. I am after something I can play music through and play to it for example You tube recording or simple composing. Any advice from those who record would be appreciated.
19. Gents,I am looking to buy one too but can`t make up my mind which one?
20.
Well an update - I`ve gone and bought a couple (one for regular use, one as backup), and used one at gigs over the weekend (with provided rigs) and finally at rehearsal last night with my own rig. And am soooooo pleased - the sound was excellent, exactly what I`ve been trying to get, absolutely spot-on, sits really aggressively in the mix but without a harsh top end. Playability is great, build quality is great, it just shows that sometimes you have to trust your instincts, or in this case, ears.
which ones did you get?
