    Ive had an ah 250 since new in the eighties.Stoneham amps fitted new mosfets recently and its like new.the power and depth of tone of these amps is very hard to beat in my opinion.

    I used the the amps thats for sale with my handbox stack and its great so if anyones interested in the trace cabs i will sell then as apair and keep the amp

    ive used british audio service to get a new front plate for my ah250.a little on the expensive side but i had no problems with the delivery .they have parts that may be unobtainable anywhere else.

    The stack on the left forces the sale of the stack on the right.ive owned the trace elliot stack from new back in the eighties.the ah250 amp has had all new mosfets and some new transistors in the preamp fitted by martin at stoneham amplification.its as powerful as the day it was bought.the 4x10 has all 3 original trace elliot 75w speakers and 1 trace elliot replacement 150w speaker.the 15 is a fane colossus 400w.these speakers were the best around at the time.only for sale as i find it easier to move my 2x10s at my age .ps.just waiting for a new tube to arrive to light it up.cheers

    Trace elliot 4 x 10 and 1x 15 cabs for sale.ive owned these cabs from new .the 15 is fitted with a 400w fane colossus.only for sale as i now have a 2x 10 based rig.big sound for a small price with these.cheers.im keeping the amp but i could sell if anyones interested

    I dont trust any carriers after multiple delivery issues and damage.dpd are the latest to deliver £700 worth of damaged goods and refusing to accept their responsibilty.keep at them to get your bass

    ive just had the mosfets in my mk5 ah250 replaced by stoneham amplification.the power and tone has been fully restored to what it was like when i bought it new in the 80s. my own opinion is that when t.e .emerged they raised the bar for bass amplification to a new level that is still valid today.the current prices represent excellent value for money as long as you can manage the weight..ive never had a problem competing with guitarists whatever they were using.

    hi there,just a little update on my fight with dpd over my damaged cabinet. No change,they are just refusing to pay for the damage .ill keep at them though.

    Is anyone in the northeast using a mesa boogie prodigy or d800+.id like to hear them in action before i choose what new amp to buy.if you gigging one ill come and have a listen.cheers

    I tend to agree with chris b.i had white valve amp in the late 70s which was virtually identical to orange .it was unreliable and overheated leading to excess distortion for my ears.i replaced it with an hh which i didnt like.along came trace and blew everything else out of the water for me.my amps are now over 30 yrs old and im looking for a new one.im also considering gk fusion or maybe a prodigy if modern valve amp design has improved.or does a d800+ fit the bill
