I sale this beautiful Yamaha 6 strings. I prefer to sell it because i only play 4 strings basses and it's a shame to let it sleep in its case. I had the same before (but 5 strings version) and even if it was a incredible bass, this one sounds 'deeper', B string is awesome, it's a monster tone, a pure bass sound (see comments on google you will find easily informations about what i write here). Specs : - 3bands eq + piezzo + volume + PU balance (no passive mode) - Yamaha double coil Alnico PU - Ash body with bubinga table top - Neck-trough construction (maple with mahogany) - Ebony fretboard - 24 frets / 35" scale - Original Yamaha hardcase - 5.3kg (very well balanced) - 18mm strings spacing Strings are still original ones, i don't change them for the sale because they still sound bright... This basse was barely played 2 or 3 hours (maybe less) since the buy in 2008 and produced in October 2007 (# 57). I cleaned it yesterday and i saw no scratches on it (see pictures they speak for themselves), quite incredible for an over 15 years instrument. I let plastics covers so they can be remove by the next owner 🙂 . Full set up done - low action 1.3mm (B string) / 1.5mm (C string) Price : 1700 euros shipment not include ! I can trade it, just ask me. I just don't play fretless and i have preference for 4 strings basses (5 strings ok too).
