1.
For what it's worth. . . . These are great basses!! The Super Ferrite pick-ups are brilliant! If this was one of the more "Favoured" American brands, it would be a LOT MORE MONEY than this. That's all folks!!
- Can't argue with that !

 7.
If I sell my Spector, I might have this
Good luck with your sale!
 8. Still more fun than a "which bass is best for metal?" post though right?
 9.
Don't over think it. Plug in, play and enjoy
Oh don't worry I have and love it! - too much free time I guess
 10. Kinda overkill adding casters to a genz focus LT - they are pretty light anyway
 11.
It MIGHT not give such deep bass due to the decoupling of the cabinet and floor?
Yeah I thought that, but wouldn't the rubber feet do much the same thing?
 12. Does having a set of casters on the bottom of a cabinet make any difference to the sound than if it was stood on its original rubber feet?. I've just bought a used 410 genz, and the previous owner has added wheels. Must admit I like the added portability
 13. I have an 87 Patriot for sale here for £195 - Imported from the States last year. This sale price just about covers purchase price / shipping / tax and setup.
 14. Big US Peavey fan here - top of my list at the moment are an 87 Foundation (Super Ferrite), and a 93 Foundation (VFL). Two very different sounding but very usable basses. The 87 has more depth and grunt, while the 93 has a more hi-fi sound - very defined and more edgy. Do get some odd comments and looks from the "Bass Police", but trust me, these basses are one of the best kept secrets in the bass world.
 15. https://youtu.be/FEDX3SccieQ The Movers Blues Band (UK) cover the Little Milton song "That's What Love Will Make You Do" Recorded live March 2016 Scott Jeffery - Vocals Archie Fugill Guitar / Vocal, (Fender Stratocaster / Mesa Boogie Lonestar) Al Dente Drums, Tim Chapple - Bass (Ex Blacktop Deluxe / Devils Creek) - Peavey Foundation Bass / Orange Bass Terror / Genz Benz Focus.
 16. Good luck in your new projects - I did something similar last year, and felt a huge sense of freedom. Be prepared to start from the beginning again though, gigs you took for granted are hard to reclaim.
 17.
Y.O.B bass for me too...! Cool looking Peavey, what's the weight?
About 5 kilos according to our scales
 18. My patriot is for sale here on Basschat, please note that while it was $150 on purchase, I also paid shipping, customs, and had a guitar tech sort out the neck and set it up - I don't think £195 is unrealistic for a fully playable example. Any questions please feel free to ask - http://basschat.co.u...-super-ferrite/ Best wishes from sunny Cornwall!
 19.
Sh*t this is tempting. Year of birth and packing super ferrite.
1987 obviously a very good year ,,,,,

 22. Sold my genz lightweight cabinets and gone back to my old trace elliot 1048 4x10. The sound is fuller, ballsier and better!. I have kept a Genz 2x10 for small gigs though
