    SOLD

A long shot what about an allparts precision with jazz neck, seymour duncan quarter pounder and stand jazz pick up in the rear. Downside it has some fret wear and a buzz from one of the tuners. Plus a boss bass flanger and a set of mexican p bass pick ups that need new covers .

    Peavey gear

Ive had a mark 5 head with a 4x10 and a 15, great sound for the money. The ninetys ones just looked dated, got an old 70's guitar head thats great (although broke at the moment) similar to the bass version. But have used both with a sansamp as they sound a bit flat otherwise. The 4x10 is a real back breaker, the 2x10 are still less than 200 quid and a lot lighter.

    LH 500

And a sansamp makes it 4 although if the amp is that great it shouldnt need it.

    LH 500

Read somewhere that the volume nob was a bit of a sod to get right (sounds dumb i know) person reconned it could do with 2 volume control's. Using 2 1x15 peavey BW cabs so should be up to it no problem.

    LH 500

So volume wise would the lh1000 be an overkill in a band practice situation ?

I need to sort myself out with a new amp, so i would be open to some sort of cheap jazz type bass and cash for my ltd bass. Natural finish with emg active MM HB pick ups a real joy to play. Does the hissyness show up when playing or when the amp is switched on without the bass going through it ? Also have thought about maybe a peavey tour 450

    LH 500

My old peavey head has started playing up, so i was thinking of getting a lh500. I know they've been out a while now so now the dust has settled, do the people who are using them rate them over amp twice the price ???
  12. Im using a 78 musician head which is the guitar version of that amp and with 2x15 ive never had to use it over about 3 as i use a sans amp as well. Great amps, very clear sounds.

  16. It got hacked about, would smooth out with the right tools.
  17. It aint the best and its been hacked about around the rear pick up hole £40[attachment=20234:bass_016.jpg]
  18. Not sure if £300 to 350 is not realistic.
  19. Sorry guy's i meant rosewood [attachment=20225:bass.jpg]
  20. Maple neck mahogany fretboard. £50
  21. thinking of parting with my 63 re issue, bought in 91 has the odd mark on the body and the odd mark on the fretboard. Great tone etc fitted with emg active pick ups (no routing) Not sure of the market value to be honest, but its twice the bass my yank 62 re issue was.[attachment=20159:bass_018.jpg][attachment=20248:bass_019.jpg]
