    I've caved.

    I've ordered one.

It's too new to find any secondhand yet, and I think this will be a great cab for me, having experience of a few of their other 10" offerings.

Estimated lead time is 6 to 8 weeks, so I'm going to be waiting a while!

Aaaarrggghhh I am holding out for a 6x10 really but this does kinda tick the right boxes. So has anyone used one in anger yet?

I’ve thought long and hard about the 63 for months, it’s a once in a lifetime bass, but for noodling at home it’s just not right.
My recording days are over or I’d keep it, it’s such a nice tone, the pickups are still hot but so mellow and rich.
It should be out with someone who can get the most out of it.

Ah man I thought it was going to be a keeper when you bought it from me. However, yeah I agree they are to be played and not just stored 🙂

  3. Great basses, the 63 is killer though, I loved that bass man. I know what you mean re gigging values though, sometimes it doesn’t make financial sense to take something so valuable

Not within the EU both ways.

That said, I once flew Amsterdam -London and back for a closed-wallet swap of basses. Wasn't much more costly than shipping both ways and much more secure.

Yep this is the best way and most cost effective. The only other way is I use my courier who cover Europe and he makes sure all is well with a FaceTime call when he swaps the basses over. Sending and hoping the other party is as honest as you are is far too much of a risk. I would want lots of communication and chats/background shopping to make 100% sure but even then I think I would choose to fly it over.

Lovely lovely lovely. It's what I use with my ABM750 nearly all the time! Really light, with wheels and handles and excellent deep but tight bass.  I have a Barefaced 610 also but hardly use it as the Supertwin does it all.

If you move the 610 on, give me a holla

Please let us know, if there's a difference in sound. They are saying in the marketing that it sounds nearer the big box cali.

I love my FEA Optifet but ive been tempted to switch back to the cali for a brighter sound, so this is tempting.

I agree and have purchased. Still love the FEA and I have a big box but…

Ah well, still no response but they have now updated the bass as sold.  Like mentioned above it seems they dont keep a track of their stock on their site

Ive tried to buy a number of basses from them over the years, every one already sold 🤣 Guess thats good for the bank balance. I have bought other things and their service is excellent though.

Great little amps 120w all valve goodness. This one has done 30 gigs or so and approx 18 months old. Plenty of info on here about them. I just prefer my lovely and heavier Ampeg gear so this one is up for grabs.

£700 collected or I can courier man in a van for £75 or if you want to trust a generic courier firm, and I’ll pack as well as I can this end, it’ll be probably £25 next day delivery.

Happy to send a video of it working etc…
