Here's the group shot - more later. Thanks for coming everybody😊
-
Sorry, had a look but couldn't find anything reasonable let alone cheap. Accommodation prices have gone silly in recent years. You'd be better paying Rich a tenner to put the duvet cover on himself - me, I'd pay £20 to get out of doing that job 😉.
-
Thanks, hope the new kitchen goes well too.
-
Darn! I always like the stuff you bring. Wish you better soon.
-
Catering will be unaffected in terms of quality and quantity, as a lot of it can be prepped in advance; you might just have to queue a bit longer for it 🙂😋

BASH S.O.S. Last-minute lurgi and personal accident have decimated the Scrumpettes!!! As things stand, Gabs and Sabby will be the only full-timers in the kitchen plus a friend who can help first thing and come back around lunch-time. The normal number of helpers is six. Soooo, do any of you Bashers have a partner or teenager who's handy in the kitchen and can be persuaded/bribed/kidnapped to help? Hopefully enough of you to avoid me having to spend the day in the 'engine room' 😐
-
No, just pay on the door.
-
I've put the word out locally and will get back to you soonest.
-
Just the usual 'week before the Bash' shout-out for anyone with mains cable extension leads to please bring them. Also, anyone who can arrive early (any time after 8.30am) and help with set-up will be most welcome and get their breakfast thrown in - their mouths, that is 🙂
-
Sure, no problem.
-
No, just a crash.
-
Should have added they'll be made most welcome 🙂
-
Sure, no problem - so that will be the two of them? Let me have their names if they're definitely coming.

Nice video, bass sounds great.

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!

Brilliant! Even though I don't have one now, I'm basically a Gibson guy. Back in the day, I gigged a couple of Les Paul Triumphs. Loved them but heavier than a very heavy thing so I decided to cash them in. Followed up with a lovely black SG re-issue bought new in 2008. Should never have sold it really but the strap balance was poor and over recent years the ergonomic side of playing has become more important to me. -
All good, really hope you can make it.

☹️ We'll miss you - but I'm sure the blooze/blouse/blews/blues day will be good 😎

Well spotted, I didn't see that. I'm sure the HB-for-Gotoh replacement hardware is more than good enough, so the added switch makes the bass even better value for money. -

Interestingly just spotted that they're no longer fitting the premium Gotoh hardware mine came with, even though the price is the same. -

Harley Benton MV-4MSB gets my vote provided you're not bothered by the name on the headstock. I've got one and it's superb. Way above what you'd expect for just under £200 and I'd say compares favourably with stuff at the top of your price range. -

I sorted the strap balance with an extension bracket fixed to the original mounting points and added strap-lock buttons too. Intended to tidy it up a bit but you don't actually see it with the strap fitted. -

These are absolute killer basses! I've got the A2S in black the build quality is faultless. I'll be likely to add an A1H to the collection if I see a used one. The Aguilar pickups are amazing. -
Yes it has.
