1. I'll wack it up in the for sale section.
2. I have a Korg DTR-2 that I'm looking to sell. Fancy it?

4. I should think so! I'll be in this section trawling through to find me another Warwick. Although I think taking a bass with me round Africa may become a little cumbersome..
5. Just posting this up to say that the bass will be for sale soon and I'm just trying to guage interest. Will post up more details with lots of pictures etc soon. Haven't got alot of time at the minute. I really don't want sell the bass but I'm leaving the country to go travelling for 9 months and I can't really afford to keep her at home. Anyone out there looking for a stage 1? Many thanks. John. I'll be looking at about Sold pending payment without delivery, would much rather collection but I can arrange to deliver for as much as it costs. I will be driving up to Leeds on the 25th of November then driving down to Dover on the 27th so can go a bit out of my way to deliver personally. Here is an old pic:
6. I'm sorely tempted. I'd much rather have the macbook pro, but it's so expensive! Ahh. I might PM if it's still around in a fortnight or so.

9. Lovely bass. I'd buy it if I didn't already have one. Good luck!
10. I'm 18. I've had a Warwick Stage 1 and the Beast (as in avatar) since I was 16. All bought for by myself through buying and selling through gear. Also money via various internet schemes (if anyone is interested ask, I won't explain them as I'll get flamed.) And of course money through hard work. Current job I get £7 an hour and double time on weekends. Work 8 - 4.30 every day and whatever I like on the weekends. It's brilliant! Currently funding looking to fund my Gap Year that will take me skiing for 5 months and then to Africa for 4, all from money off my own back. It's not actually that difficult to find money if you work for it (my opinion). Although saying that I don't have anyone depending on me and I do still live at home so have to thank my dad for that! Even with the increased council tax now I've turned 18!
11. I just soldered up one of these to the 9V battery wires and use a 9V DC powerbrick. Easy as pie.

13. Especially the stuff with the really big bubbles.

15. Oh yeah, Parcel2go. Don't use them. I tried claiming insurance because I had taken it out, they just threw the T&C's back in my face saying the recipitent didn't check it at delivery. Grr.
16. I thing putting it in a race case is a very sensible idea. I didn't when I shipped mine, packaged up my B4r in more than overkill packaging. They still managed to bend the rack ear. Is it a 3U? You might end up getting some very expensive quotes for anything bigger.
17. Well I have to give up bass for 9 months as I'm travelling for it. Grrrr. Least I can get all new kit before Uni though.
18. The sound is from the fan and not the speaker right?
19. I use Boston ones. I find myself fiddling with the nuts all the time though..
20. There wont be an issue, you don't need to match brands between amplifiers and cabinets. As to what it sounds like, that depends entirely upon the Amp and Cab in question. A MAG300 and a SVT-18 is going to sound radically different to a Superfly and a SVT-210HE.
21.
Aren't they 12s? Could go into one of these: http://billfitzmaurice.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3058
Sorry, yes they are 12's not 10's. I shall have a real look at doing something like that when I've got some more time on my hands. Thanks for the link.
