I must be (almost) alone in not hating [i]any [/i]bass player really. There are people that I think aren't really lighting my candle (eg Jaco/Wootten with all the widdling) but thats about as far as I get down that road. It doesnt matter if its demanding or not, if people [i][u]like it [/u][/i]then your work is done. If they get up and dance, its gold-star time.

Would they have liked it more if I had woven some intricate pattern of harmonics around the simple tunes? I suspect not.
