1. Thanks!! It.The necks on Lakland basses are indeed incredible. I also own a 55-02DLX and it has to be one of the best basses I have owned. Great for the money.

I bought this bass a couple of months ago to replace a Lakland 55-60 custom I sold here, but despite being the best 4 string bass I have ever owned or played at this price (and higher), I am a 5 string guy. I simply prefer the string spacing on 5 string basses so I would rather give this bass a better home. As per the pictures, the bass even has the tuning peg protectors and has no marks or signs of use. 3. This is very sad to see but I work for a large independent musical instruments store here in the UK, and a week after the result of the referendum was announced, every single manufacturer issued a new price list with higher prices. Fender were the first ones, with increases of up to 15%. Now every single brand we work with has increased their prices. Good news is, we have been shipping more gear around the world due to the weaker GBP but on the other hand, every instrument has become more expensive for us UK residents to purchase, regardless of whether we are importing or buying from a UK retailer. Looks like things will not improve for a while so only expect prices to go higher!
 4. Ah sorry, sale only for now. Taking in another bass would mean a divorce!! Plus I need the cash for a 5 string and a holiday!! Do let me know if you have any more questions please.
 5.
That is awsome. Does it have 70,s spacing pickups? Really wouldn't matter to me to be honest. Its got Marcus Miller tone all over it. Really nice example. This bass is making me want to get back to a Fender 70,s Jazz
Hi, I have not measured it but I am pretty certain that it does have the 70's spacing. You get that extra punch, just like you get with a MM bass. It is certainly a really nice bass and it is unfair that it does not get played. I'll post some pictures without the covers so you can see the pickups. I'm open to offers via PM.

I bought it because i fell in love with the way it looked and sounded, but I am a 5 string player so it has been played very, very few times, as I simply prefer the flatter radius on 5 string basses.. ..Even the scratch plate film is still on!! To top it all, the bass has been set up by the lovely people at Andertons Music, so it plays like a dream. I may add, the bass has never been gigged, only played at home, hence there is not a single mark on it, it is as it left the factory. Here are the specs:

Model Name: FSR American Vintage '75 Jazz Bass®
Model Number: 017-0335-(734)
Series: American Vintage Series
Body: Ash Neck: Maple, '70s "C" Shape, (Gloss Urethane Finish)
Fingerboard: 1-Piece Maple, 7.25" Radius (184 mm)
No. of Frets: 20 Vintage Style Frets
Scale Length: 34" (863.6 mm)
Nut Width: 1.5" (38.1 mm)
Hardware: Nickel/Chrome
Machine Heads: American Vintage '70s Fender®-Stamped Open Gear Tuning Machines
Bridge: American Vintage Bass with Single Groove Steel Barrel Saddles
Pickguard: 3-Ply Black/White/Black
Pickups: American Vintage '75 Jazz Bass® Single-Coil Pickups
Controls: Volume 1. 7. Great bass and great price. IMHO this are better looking than the new Elite series. I am after one of this myself, but I have a very similar (Almost identical) AVRI 75 FSR so it makes no sense for me, but GLWTS.
 8. I got 3 and one on the way. -Mayones Jabba Custom Buckeye Burl -Music Man Sterling 5 USA -Fender American Vintage RE-issue 75 FSR jazz And I just placed an order for a Music Man Bongo 5 HH stealth. I have owned a Lakland 55-60 which just sold here, an American Std Jazz, Maruszczyk Elwood, Warwick Streamer LX German, Ibanez SR prestige, Traben Chaos (first bass) and an ESP/LTd Pancho Tomaselli signature PT-4. I do work for a large musical instruments retailer so I get some great deals!
 9.
I have one just like this but am not short sighted enough to sell it unlike the OP. It's the best I've ever had and destroys Fenders. Take advantage of him and buy it now ! P.s. that is not the original pick guard
I know, I should not sell it but I need the funds and all my other basses have sentimental value, so this is the only one I could sell. In all honesty, I will probably buy it again in future haha! You are right, the pick guard is from a Lakland Darryl jones! Thanks for the comment.
 10.
Really cool looking bass! GLWTS
It is indeed, thanks mate!

 12. Hi Manu, It is indeed Indonesian made and it weights around 4.3kg/9.47lbs. Let me know if you have any more questions please. Kind regards
 13. Thanks Brick! It is a lovely bass. I love the fingerboard radius, it makes me play better than with other basses
 14. 15. Wow, this is a very pretty bass. i cannot believe it has not sold. I used to work on Denmark Street in London, near a shop where GMR had their showroom and this basses are great, definitely top quality. Good luck selling it. Wish I had the cash but I'm actually selling some of my basses.
 16. Hi there, I don't suppose you still have the 1 x latch, lock, key and rivets £15 posted by any chance? Thanks
 17. In no particular order: Aston Barret Norwood Fisher Stuart Zander Nathan East Roscoe Beck Oscar Stagnaro Pancho Tomaselli (philm) Rex Brown Luis Angel Pastor Robbie Shakespeare
 18. Gutted I can't go this year. It's our yearly stocktake at Andertons Music so I must work that weekend. Just when I thought it finally did not land on my daughter's birthday!! Looking forward to the pictures and footage, there needs to be more video footage of the show. Enjoy it those who are going.
