1. Don't forget you can ask Adrian to upgrade the tuners if you do not want the standard one. He offers Hipshot for not much more.

 3.
The names would be a deal breaker for me - I f***ing hate The Blues Brothers.
Get a Sputnik!! or a Mr. Tee....
 4. I tried the ones at the show and had a chat with Adrian on both days for a long time. The built quality was amazing and the playability just as good. I am by no means the best bass player (or good) but I have worked in the musical instruments sector for a long time, running a shop on Denmark Street and I can sincerely say this instruments would cost 2 or 3 times more if they had a different name on the headstock. I had my friend who's a seasoned pro and Rotosound artist try them and he was very impressed. Specially with the balance of the Frog. You can have them made to your liking with top components like glockenklang preamps and Delano pickups and after close inspection not a flaw in sight. These guys have been making basses for about 30 years!! That's longer than most boutique companies. Adrian is a great guy, very friendly and a great player too. I'll be ordering mine soon and I'll post photos/review. Still deciding what to order, so much choice!!
 5. Wow, so much hostility about a thread. To clarify things Adrian Maruszczyk does not use agents or distributors, he told me that himself at the bass show. He sell directly or to shops. I don't think anyone is trying to sell anything to anyone here. If you like Maruszczyk read on, show yours, ask questions. If not, there's plenty of threads for headstock name snobs out there to comment on.
 6. For the price, I would go for the Maruszczyk. I just saw them at the bass show and the instruments quality was that of instruments 3 times the price. Great feel, craftsmanship and components. I could not fault them and in fact I will be ordering one soon. Keep in mind this guys at Maruszczyk have been building instruments for 30 to 35 years. It might not have a big name on the headstock (or an easy to pronounce..) but I have been in the musical instruments retail business for long enough to spot a great quality instrument. To top it all Adrian is a top bloke!
 7.
I was there yesterday and had a GREAT day. Yes, there was a lot of noise but I wasn't at all bothered by it. It might be because most of it was low end, but I could actually understand the person I was talking to. I also had the feeling that, apart from the Status stand maybe, there wasn't even that much slapping going on. Best experiences: -Having a chat with Roger Sadowsky. I think he might have been the nicest guy at the show. What a great man. -Checking out the TecAmp stand. I've said my Aguilar won't leave me for the next few years, but that might be changing... -Having coffee with Paul Turner. I've had the chance of meeting him twice so far, and already he knows who I am and invited me for a cup of coffee at the Maribelle's (just opposite of the Olympia). Great guy, great bass player. What also struck me was how nice everybody was to each other. There was no feeling of rivalry, nobody was walking around with a "I can play better than you" attitude... I think that would be different at a drums or guitar show. Oh and this happened. Photo by Paul Sips (the guy with the hat). I'm on the far left.
Sorry to be an ignorant here but, who's the guy to the left os Steve Lawson (Beanie hat)? I saw a bunch of people taking pictures of him but to be honest the face looks familiar and I got no idea who he is.
 8.
sell the human, keep the bass
I'll what the market is like
 9. Thanks for the wise words Kriss, yeah it is a great bass. It is shame it has to go but I have other priorities hence the low price. I hope it finds a good home.
