  1. Hi jwt93, I contacted ambient about a sale last week and he told me he had decided to keep it. Don't think he gets the chance to check BC too frequently so thought I should let you know.
  2. Sold a TH500 to Lozz - great comms throughout and a thoroughly decent chap to do business with. Thanks!
  3. Traded pedalboards with Jordan today. Good bloke and a pleasure to do business with.
  4. I sold Alex an envelope filter and it was as smooth a transaction as you like. Good comms and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks!
  5. Three Fender patch cables and four pro-quality unbranded (bought from here and really good, but don't know the parts manufacturer). As I'm moving on my pedals these are surplus to requirements. Can meet in Central London, or will post at cost. [attachment=201643:DSC09452.JPG] [attachment=201644:DSC09453.JPG]
  6. Simple high quality plug and play interface for bass into iPhone or iPad. Comes with both old-style and newer Lightning cables. Not much to say really, it's all on the web, but I was put onto this by the threads here about using iPhone as a recording device and it does work amazingly well. It's boxed and in perfect condition. Price £35 includes postage in the UK. [attachment=201641:DSC09450.JPG] [attachment=201642:DSC09451.JPG]
  7. Superb compressor by Empress - I had this and the Cali 76TX and this was way better to my ear. It's the first compressor I've had with a Blend knob and it really does make it so intuitive. Wind up the compression to an audible level and then blend it back to restore enough of the playing dynamics. That may not be a purist way of using compression but to my ear it just works. Anyway there's loads on the net about these, so I won't drivel on about it. It's in great condition, just one small scratch next to the 'empress' logo which you should be able to see in the photo. Special Delivery included in the UK.
  8. Mint condition GR2 by 3 Leaf, hands down the best envelope filter I've used and I've tried pretty much all of them. These are pretty hard to find as a lot of players prefer them to the earlier GR (no blend knob) and the more finnicky Wonderlove. Correction to earlier listing - this does not come with the box (not that they're anything special) - box just visible in the photo goes with my Enabler. Special Delivery included within UK or can meet in Central London. [attachment=201639:DSC09449.JPG]
  9. These don't come up too often and with good reason. It's a superb cab, way better than the Aguilar to my ear, super-light at 10kg and perfect match for the TH500 that I also have listed . It's absolutely mint - unboxed in my sitting room and hasn't moved since - been used about 5 times tops, so not even broken in. I've just been using my Enabler with cans exclusively as we're in a very small flat, and no gigging on the horizon so I really need to give up the daydreams for now and downsize. I think this is a fair price as they're £350 new + £75 for tweeter (which really does add sparkle particularly with a Jazz or active) + £40 for padded cover. Collect or meet up only in Central London - I'm next to Waterloo. [attachment=201635:DSC09456.JPG] [attachment=201636:DSC09457.JPG] [attachment=201637:DSC09458.JPG] [attachment=201638:DSC09459.JPG]
  10. Mint condition TH500 for sale with Aguilar case. I'm sure you don't need me to repeat the specs here and there's plenty of testimony as to how good these are on various threads. I have to say, it's by far the best amp I've tried with a Precision - fat, warm, powerful without losing clarity and detail. Would prefer to meet up in Central London - you can come and try it out while I still have the TKS cab, but that's up for sale too. Otherwise happy to courier. 11. I'd say it was somewhere in between, but it's gone now. Went back at the weekend to give it another whirl and someone had snapped it up the day before. I've been keeping an eye out here for a NBD post but not a peep so far.
  12. Old style Pedaltrain Mini with the back lip which is an asset if you want to stand up a psu in the tray or for keeping your cables contained. Price includes UK shipping or can meet in Central London, or will trade for a Nano [attachment=199128:DSC09131.JPG]
  13. For sale only - Cioks Adam, boxed with all leads and in mint unused condition. Price reduced to £65 including postage within the UK or can meet in Central London - no offers for now please. [attachment=199127:DSC09130.JPG]
  14. They have one in Wunjo's at £995. Got a call from Laurence on Friday to say it's the first one into Europe and went along today to try it out. It looks great - a really nice warm mahogany, and if anything the neck felt a little comfier than the one-pickup, although I'm sure they're to the same spec. Overall I wasn't blown away. The back pickup is a little bit closer to the bridge, and doesn't have the same punch/thump that the one pickup delivers. In fact solo'd it sounds more like a Jazz back pick-up which isn't my thing. It's better blended or front pick-up solo where it gives a nice woody semi-acoustic vibe. I'm not convinced how well it would sit in a mix, unlike the one-pickup which only does that mid-range honk but does it really well. Anyway, if anyone's interested I can't recommend Wunjo's highly enough and the guys down there will make you feel very welcome.
  15. As well as many of the aforementioned: Flamed maple, particularly coloured flamed maple LEDs (ones on the side just about OK) Block inlays unless it's a '68 to '70s Jazz
