Up for grabs is a Yamaha Session Cake SC-01 silent practice tool and headphone amp thingy. I bought this last year, used it for around 10 minutes to check it was working and it's been sat in its box ever since! Comes with original box although it has come unstuck down one side, it was like that when I bought it. Also includes instructions and the connection cable. I'm looking for £18 delivered in the UK please.

Up for grabs is a set of used La Bella flats, these are medium scale and will fit a 32" scale bass or something like a string through body 30" scale. They are cut for a 2 a side headstock and do not fit my string through body Mustang. I'm looking for £20 posted in the UK please. -
Up for grabs is a Behringer BDI 21, it's a cheap and cheerful knock off of the Tech 21 Sansamp Bass Driver. It's all working and in excellent condition, there's just one little ding to the right side of the casing opposite the footswitch. I'm looking for £18 posted within the UK please.

Up for grabs is my TC Electronic Hypergravity compressor pedal. This is the big brother of the Spectracomp and works just as well on bass as its little brother. It's in very good condition and comes boxed although it's not its original box. Looking for £45 delivered in the UK please.

I love compression and my bass playing just doesn't feel right when playing without it. But compression is a bit of a black art and depending on which flavour of compression is used it can sound as though nothing is happening when it's just the bass in isolation but play along with the band or even a backing track and it will make sense. Definitely do a bit of research into compression so that you understand what's going on, it'll help you to set one up so that it works better for you. Having said that, there's a lot of misconceptions about compression - some of which have been repeated on here and really don't achieve anything other than spreading fake news and adding further confusion to an already misunderstood subject. So maybe start with the link that Grandad posted above as Basschat isn't always a reliable source of 'truth' when it comes to compression* *Unless it's been written by @51m0n in which case it is the unquestionable word of the God of Compression.
