1. The soft cases have been improved upon so depending on when people bought their pedaltrain you'll hear differing views. They now have a heavy-duty metal zipper and reinforced stress points.
2. Ah, I can see what you mean there. I hadn't thought of that. It is highly possibly that I would never be lively enough for that to happen though. But perhaps it's worth me considering the pancake style cables that have a physical lead in-between.
3. I now have everything that I need for my first pedalboard and have it all set it up and working. I am using some Klotz 6 inch cables that I already had access to but I wish to get some space saving connectors to complete the board. I'm pretty sure I could squeeze extra space for a couple more pedals sometime in the future. I'm not sure on the differing quality available and if going too cheap will result in a cable that will only be a problem long term. My eye is on the EBS PL-10 and PL-20 - http://www.gear4music.com/Books-DVD-and-Sheet-Music/EBS-PL-10-Symmetric-Interconnect-Plug/P46 --- http://www.gear4music.com/Books-DVD-and-Sheet-Music/EBS-PL-20-Concentric-Interconnect-Plug/P48 They don't seem to be readily available though, and I will require 4 of each. Does anybody have any experience of these? Are there others that are known to be of a better or equal quality? Is there a site that sells many types of parch cables? Any other thoughts would be great.

SOLD

I'm interested in the TimeLord if your Whammy sells without it.
6.
If not, send it to Martin Owen (Owen Electronics) in Manchester
That's a very useful contact for me as it's very local, thanks. He's actually in Salford, as opposed to Manchester, so even closer.
7. My EHX Clone Theory has stopped working. Knowing how this has happened and what I can do about fixing it would be very helpful indeed. The vibrato function doesn't work at all and let's zero sound past. The two chorus functions lets sound past but it's clean. It also makes noise that is certainly more than a hiss. The last time it was used was at a practice session that involved it being part of a daisy change. Cut it be that there was too much power for the adapter to handle? Is it fixable?
8. I purchased a pedal from Chris. He was easy to deal with and I trusted him throughout. Superb communication always.. especially when we had to endure Royal Mail being rather slow and sloppy. I would without doubt deal with him again. Thanks Chris!
9.
One you can fit all your stuff on, obviously taking power supply, connection leads and input/output locations into consideration . What leads you using?
Knowing which one I can fit all my stuff on is the problem really. I kinda know that I need to buy one that can hold everything. I have no idea on leads at all.
10. Any ideas on which pedalboard may be suitable?
11.
If you're after horror textures, the reverse reverb on Digitech pedals on full wet mix produces a really interesting spooky tone. The Hardwire sounds best but the X series does it very well too and can be had for fairly cheap.
Would this be it? https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/reverb-delay/digitech-hardwire-supernatural-ambient-reverb?gclid=Cj0KEQjw-7GxBRCL_Kq6mZSHvdsBEiQA7r8VhGdrhng4NA_wjiSlJs9QYtybcgpQNkFIvQr_Ghdf55oaAlil8P8HAQ
12. I have been building up my gear for quite some time now. Guitar wise I have all I need and I'm almost there in finishing my first board. Currently I have the following: - Korg Pitchblack Tuner - Darkglass Microtubes B7K - Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie B - EHX The Clone Theory - Boss Octave OC-2 - Boss Digital Delay DD-6 - EHX Freeze - EHX Ravish Sitar I expect to also get a compressor pedal. Empress or Darkglass are topping the list at the moment. For power I shall be using GigRig and letting them know exactly what I intend to use so they can properly lay out exactly what I need. Before I do that though I need to know for sure what I want on my board. Is there anything that I am maybe missing? Anything that I could maybe replace for something better or more suitable? The music will be psychedelic krautrock with a side project of dark old school horror soundtrack stuff. As far as pedal boards go I have absolutely no idea which way to go. I would most like something that isn't huge but would it be best to go for something that's a little bigger than I need in case I wish to add more? It would also need to be able to fit in a bag that can be thrown over my shoulder and carried as I tend to walk and use public transport to get around. Please feel free to offer any kind of advice on this. I am always open to any kind of suggestions and don't be shy in using layman's terms.
13.
Hence why i 'think' they are the first ever cabs from any company ever to have a LIFETIME warranty for both the cabinet and speakers, if you manage to blow a speaker in 10 years time or whenever we will replace it free of charge, the speakers really are that good.
Just curious how that works exactly. Does the buyer have to pay for the cab to be returned?
14. I recently required a more dub like tone for a track I was working on. A professional bassist recommended the EBS Octabass as a pedal that could help me, is this correct? I am currently in the process of putting together my first ever pedalboard so any help on this would be great. Feel free to use layman's terms!
15. I have no idea what that means but thanks for giving me something to look into.
16. I hadn't tried that for some reason. But I have already had it installed and it wasn't recognised inside of Sonar. Boss replied to me today saying that: "The Windows 10 drivers for the BR-800 are currently being reviewed by Microsoft as we speak. A release is due any day now but please keep an eye out on the official downloads page below where the driver will first be released" Hopefully that will be the case. I really need to get started on things.

18. It gets stuck at this point forever. http://imgur.com/3JW2Ojj
19. Thanks for another idea. I tried it but still nothing. It won't even install the 8.1 driver now.
20. Yeah unfortunately they all carried over so that isn't the issue. I wish it was though! Would be so simple to fix then.
21. I am in a bit of a pickle. I sat down with four new tracks ready for me to lay some bass lines down but encountered a problem. My PC recently updated to Windows 10 and now my BR-800 isn't recognised as a mackie control in Sonar LE. Do I now have a fairly expensive digital recorder that I cannot use with Windows 10? I'm guessing that it won't be updated with a new driver for quite a long time. Any ideas?
22. Yeah that's right, it's just a P pup. And usually with a matching headstock. I can't make out what it says on the headstock. I assume it must read 1200s if the OP is selling it as that. And if it does then who has tried to make it look like a 1200s? I would like to think it wasn't the OP.
23. I recently sold a bass to Jonny. It always makes me happy when I meet a BCer and they turn out to be a thoroughly good chap. Would deal with him again in a second.
