So what select hardwoods are they using now?
I'm happy I don't need to buy one at the moment.

The one in my fretted Bongo 5HH sounds great - anyway your £1500 must have been early 2000s?
I also think these new prices are bonkers but think it's likely it's caused by leaving the EU and any trade deal there was with the US.
The champagne sparkle Stingray on Andertons is a BFR model which attracts a mark up - from last year - but is around the same price as one of the new sparkle models (the colour will also attract a mark up from base price) - my guess is there is around 20% or more added.
Is this just the start of another all round hike in instrument prices from the US following Brexit actually happening?
Thanks Nige 😏
Not sure... PRS SEs and Fenders on the guitar side haven't increased as much for 2021...

God knows what the Classics will be when they bring them back...

The UK did use Strings & Things to distribute Musicman unless that changed recently.

I might just predict 2022 and go 3500.

I still struggle with understanding how a Chinese built Dingwall NG series sells for around £2k. Surely they only cost a couple of hundred to make on a CNC machine, plus maybe another hundred for the DG preamp. They are effectively telling us a setup in Canada adds £1700 to the value? Strewth!
Yep. I don't get it either 😂

There is no way theyve made that mistake on every item for 2021.
EBMM have also stripped back the models available but did mention a lot of this is Covid related.
Thankfully I'm all set... I would have liked a St Vincent guitar at some point but we shall see what happens.

What?!??
Is this serious?!
£2,750 for a black single H Stingray?! They are great instruments but I just hope this is a mistake.

I think they did a good job... Much better than the current demos online. BF should send them their pedal.

£1200!!??
I'm surprised during Covid that people are still picking up countless instruments.

Absolutely boring.

Wow. I count at least 15 of these B-stock MetroExpresses on eBay from the same seller in Germany, with varying degrees of scratch/dent/dings, imperfections in the finish, one with a fingerboard that looks like its edge was dragged across concrete briefly BEFORE the frets were installed, and one with a snapped string tree.
My goodness
Crazy...

They let that logo through to production. The rest of it shouldn’t be surprising 😄

These issues should not have got anywhere near the general market.

I've bought pedals from these guys and everything has been perfect. They've just released a new pedal and this is how I would do a few vids:

Small boutique English company as well.

I think going into pedals is a great idea, box packaging is cool but yes probably needs to be standardised with more safety.
Price is reasonable. Good pedal designer.
However the demos just make it sound thin and to me like every other bass attempt at fuzz and drive. Think that needs addressing when it's competing against a lot of pedals and indeed some fully digital ones that sound absolutely amazing.

What an absolute mess of a launch.

Definitely not for me. I think the Sire basses look much nicer.
Disappointing.

The worst logo I've ever seen.

The DG high gain just sounds like a generic guitar in metal to me.

I'd use the Markbass with a VT pedal and sell the DG... Keep the other one.
