    In Response to the weight questions... Using the 'bathroom scale subtraction' method involving a range of family members the bass averages a smidge over 9.5lb So a 'featherweight' but not a 'heavyweight' either... It's a 'nice weight' for a jazz bass and balances well on a strap Cheers Mark
