  1. Think I'm really starting to want a five string Lakland type bump...
  2. After receiving some very interesting offers for trade (including some that I'm sure I'll regret turning down), I figure that I'm really after something Fender Jazz-ish. Five string would be great but a four isn't a deal breaker. Thanks to all who have contacted me with offers so far. EDIT: The trade value would be somewhat higher than the current cash sale value. Open to reasonable negotiation on that one. Thanks!
  3. Weekend bump! Possibly considering trades/trades + cash my way…depending on what you have. Thinking about setting up a BEAD bass and don't want to try it on this one.
  4. I had one of these in a five string, of all the instruments I've let go, I regret that one the most. Great and hard to find basses, GLWTS! (And if anyone out there has a five string version, let me know...)
  5. Thanks, guys. Happy New Year bump.
  6. I picked up one of these in honeyburst this year. Great bass with a clean low B and a reasonable variety of tonal choices-good MM growl with some pretty tasty alternatives. It's my main player now and I can wholeheartedly recommended grabbing one. GLWTS!
  7. Boxing day bump. Hope all had a Merry Christmas!
  8. 'Wouldn't this look good with your mostly red Christmas jumper?' bump.
  9. Happy half-term bump (for all the teachers)!
  10. Now £700 to better reflect the current market, no trades please.
  11. Ernie Ball Musicman USA Sterling Specs: semi-transparent teal (in reality it appears anywhere between a dark green to light teal depending on lighting-nice), ash body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, ~9 lbs, 22 Frets, single humbucker (3-way switch: series/parallel/single), 3-band active EQ, bolt-on neck, fresh 9V battery. Currently strung with flats but sounds great with either rounds or flats. Comes with an original 4 string Musicman Sterling USA hard case in good condition-not the case in the photos. The bass looks great, it has with a few minor dings around the jack input and a small scratch near the scratchplate, please see the photos. I bought this bass from fellow basschat member thegom but have since found a Stingray 5 HH on my last trip home to the States. As a result, this one hasn't been played much since. Sad to loose this one-it does have a truly amazing, fast and comfortable neck. The bass is located in SE London- I'd prefer local pickup in London but will consider shipping at cost to the buyer or a possible halfway meet- distance and scheduling permitting. Cash or bank transfer sale only, please.
  12. Very belatedly putting this up as I just learned that this thread was here! (New guy, if you can't tell...) I purchased his MM Sterling a few weeks back and it was a fast and very easy transaction. Thanks a ton, loving the bass!
  13. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rich. And yes, the money seems to be flowing out quite [s]worryingly[/s] nicely!
  14. Just bought a Little Mark III off of Rich and he was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Fast, communicative and friendly seller. Thanks a ton, Rich! Travis
