Yep, it sounds great but I do like to fettle! I have noticed that my 1001RB has stopped clipping since I stopped using my old 4 string ray. It was a bit shouty mind!

I have just bought a beautiful MIM Fender jazz and although it sounds like a choir of angels/barry white, I was wondering about possible upgrades without losing the jazz sound or butchering an aftermarket bridge on. I may not even bother if it sounds as good through my gig rig as it does through my home rig. Ta.

I reckon it stands for Bassists Unite (against) Mediocre Pianists.

I am trying to sell my MM stingray but would like to lower the price. I have tried editing it using the full editor but when I submit the revised description the price stays as the old one. HELP!!!

You're quite right there but my advert to sell my stingray on bass chat hasn't pulled any offers. Maybe I will lower the price! Thanks for all the advice people and if you see a Warwick corvette standard 4 string kicking about then let me know!

I "gave up" the bass for 4 years after a band collapse. I kept my gear and hung my two stingrays on the wall as rather beautiful ornaments. I am now in a band fuelled with passion, talent and anger and love it. rehearsing is the peak of my week. you will never stop being a bass player. we are way too cool.

Had the same. Stock cover fitted well on my 1x15 hartke but "custom" 4.5xl came with handles in wrong place!!
