1.
There are some issues with IE. Writing and editing posts is a real pain as well. Try using Firefox. Worked for me.
using another browser.......testing, testing, 1,2,3......
2. Still working on this quote thing and abbreviations BTW.
3. My last post has no relevance to anything as I haven't a clue how to quote. I feel angry with myself. How ironic.
4. I myself asked a simple question the other day and was told to search the f*****g forum as it has already been discussed. No mods were contacted about this scathing attack and no tears were shed upon my Nokia lumia. I just took it as someone having a bad day/attitude/life and skipped merrily along my way. I like the plural of forum, very good. Sounds a bit like a flower.
5. I was going to leave this thread but now it has gotten interesting. It seems that people are quick to take a comment which conflicts with their own opinion negatively and as soon as a follow up sarcastic/ironic comment is returned they start throwing toys. Maybe these people should steer clear of forums and ask the opinions of people who know how they react in a safe and friendly non internet based environment. That's just my opinion. Please don't take it personally.
6. Anonymity doesn't do it for me hence the avatar of my good self and open profile with personal information. If there weren't "keyboard warriors" people wouldn't have to comment in a way other people find aggressive to counter. On all other points.......I'll just shut up!
7. You gotta love a keyboard warrior. Someone who has never met you giving it the big I am. Bet they would be a little less confident stood toe to toe.
8. I found him very argumentative and he lost the sale for this reason. I asked him the Compatibility of the item I was going to purchase and then he went on a huge rant about "tire kickers". Note the American spelling! I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of having my hard earned cash.
9. Yep, I had a ashdown ABM C115 combo that I had bi-amped slung a BW driver in and it held its own in most situations. It was one of the first in the country. Sadly Ashdown didn't seem interested when it overheated and cooked itself (before I had it modded) so I decided on my setup I have now.
10. Pinnick not pinnock!!!!
11. Dude, that sounded like a sermon delivered by the epic god that is Doug Pinnock. He's as awesome as his metallic growly bass sound!
12. Stingray 5 on parallel, half treble and mid, full bass. GK 1001rb 50% on everything apart from bass set at 70% through hartke 8x10. Eat my low end.
13. I'm not sure what RTFM actually means or any of the abbreviations on t'interweb! I thought that maybe as the 4x10's and 1x15 would have been matched perfectly seeing as both are from the hartke xl series. Apparently not, seems the old transporter matches the 4.5xl much better. I would recommend it.
14. It easily produced more low end that a 4x10/1x15 mix. I read somewhere that a 1x15 can actually cancel out some 4x10 frequencies and vice versa. I believe that to be true now!
15. That went well. The sound was so mammoth that the keyboard player we were auditioning said she had never heard such an awesome sound in her life!!! It truly blew away the 4x10/1x15 setup by a country mile. I may just use the 1x15 as an occasional table! Truly astounding and soooooo subby!
16. That's just what I needed to hear!!!
17. I am going to risk the 8x10 just for this evening. I may well be impressed!
18. But not bit. Text prediction is a aunt.
