1. You know things are bad then your relieved you DIDNT end up buying a bass!
2. if i post the links then someone will buy them before i just say sod it and buy another! its quite clever really!
3. My PB-50 turned up today and just had a quick check over and play at work and it has finally happened, this bass can actually be classed as unplayable, as you cant fit a jack into the socket due it being too small in circumference. other than that it is completely fine and once i took the cheap scratch plate off quite lovely to look at! iv got loads of spare jack sockets at home as it will be a 2 minute fix and hopefully i very playable bass! i especially like the very chunky neck Also https://m.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_jb_75_na_vintage_serie_deko.htm?o=5&ref=mal_a_5&search=1443442177

6. +1 on "Build Your Own Electric Guitar" by Melvyn Hiscock i built my DIY guitar and bass using that book in the woodwork room at school! (they didn't turn out great but it wasn't the books fault!)
7. Recently came across this sticker covering that is advertised as being for covering cars to upgrade there paint jobs with ease so I thought it might be a good idea to get some to stick onto my pile of Harley Benton deko basses to breath some life into there rather boring pick guards! I picked up a length of metallic green as I thought it would work well with black bodies, it cost £6 and there's easily enough to cover 4/5 Precision plates. After about 20 minutes of work with a sharp craft knife and scissors my test basses boring white pick guard, one from a HB shorty P the bass, now look significantly better!
8. Shipping conformation came through courtesy of Carlos Cordeiro!
9. yeah i duno why that is i normally check the mobile site (well have it constantly on my phone so i see it every time i access the internet ) and it seems to update quicker than the computer site, it also annoyingly keeps everything that is sold out for a while after, so you know what bargains you've missed!
10. Loads of dekos are up on mobile site jazzes and 50s P May have 'accidentally' order a 50s P I don't need one but there £20!
11. I've got the Mobile page on my phone so check it every so often, glad it's getting some good use, I hate to think of stuff sitting in cupboards it under beds when they could be getting some use somewhere!

13. I've got one, and it's really well built and sounds pretty good if a bit low output, but as its my first 5 string I can't vouch on how flappy he B is compared to others, but feels good to me!
14. If it goes well I may do one, if it goes hideously wrong I'll pretend it never happened!
15.
Go for it! You won't be disappointed. The herd will feel almost identical in your hands but each has it's own distinctive sound which makes these fun little basses even more fun to play. If you buy them 'deco' almost any part you replace on them will be more expansive than the bass itself.
iv already got spare pickups of all types, just need to do some routing practice!
16. those shorty P's are a bargain, i'm tempted to buy a herd of them and mod them since reading BlaBlas build diary thread!
17. aaarrgh! i've loved the look of those PB 50s for while! but i have far to many guitars and far too little money that another might send my missus over the edge! i suppose i could get one as a gift for her......
18. thsi is not helping with my Maruszczyk GAS!
19. +1 on the shorty P's! my deko one was fine apart from needing a good clean to its grimy fretboard
20. That would explain it then ive had 50 euros worth already
21. I reviewed some gear not long ago, never got a voucher though I've kept the diadarios on my deko Jazz, quite like them!

23.
I'm finding with my Progresiv Jazz, that when playing in Passive, if I switch to Active without turning the volume down, I get a loud "pop" go through the amp and speakers. Does anyone else get this? Or is this a super new feature that only i have the benefit of? Just wondering if I have a duff pre-amp, or is it designed that way.
Mine does that, it's louder when I first start using it but then it seems to be getting quieter everytime I use the push pull
