Superb players '77 jazz bass with two bodies, this bass has had a lightweight swamp ash body 4 bolt conversion and Aguilar pickups fitted by a luthier, the original '77 body has been modified into a Marcus Miller replica and is included, original pickups are now in another bass and are not included, Great sounding bass with a very low action, frets are in good condition, bass is wearing Thomastik Infeld flats. hard case included.

Absolutely beautiful unlined stingray, with original Musicman hard case, some tiny marks on the board from roundwound strings in a previous ownership, bass is currently wearing D'addario chrome flats. custom pickguard from Myrtle burl is fitted and original black pickguard is included, i have my eye on something else, So cash or a boutique 5 string single cut with a cash adjustment from my end.

Saw them Tuesday night in Dublin, I was standing directly in front of the stage, I loved his tone, It had a percussive punch that the jazz doesn't have, More mids coming through too, Bass sounded extremely articulate especially on fast passages, You could hear every note! friends who were in the balconies were very dissapointed with the FOH sound, The venue is an old theatre, I was impressed with his sound.

I quizzed Joe about this bass back in July at a bass workshop he held at Sligo Jazz, Its a prototype, its a Sterling 34" scale, its passive, it has Ernie Ball cobalt flats, and He loves it! a fair coup for Musicman as Joe is the best player of his generation in my opinion.

I recently bought one of these 20th Anniversary stingrays with a maple board, its an outstanding instrument, the build quality is fantastic the action is super low and the string to string balance is perfect, its one of the best basses that I've ever played, this is worth every penny of the asking price.

Hi I have put one of these 6 wire Bartolini quad coil MM pickups into a Sterling Ray 34, I have also fitted a SLO Stingray lined fretless neck, can some one advise me on how to wire it in parallel, it came with a dpdt switch but I have no room for it on the control plate as the pre-amp circuit board is in the way,, Bartolini wiring diagram attached, the original Alinico pickup is two wire I presume the white one is HOT? 6-Conductor-Wiring-Diagram-SW2.pdf
