**SOLD**

Ill try and borrow some scales to weigh it. The neck feels great, it must be something in Alan's design as I'm not equipped with long arms or oversize hands and I had no problems adapting to the scale and I'd only used 34" 4 stringers before. Seems I have developed a preference for a flatter board so the zero radius to me feels very good.
  2. Hey DiMarco! That's lush! Ebony board? Looks good enough to eat! I'm having communication problems with the seller ( haha I wanna pay less and he wants more). Still trying to get confirmation on whether its a broad neck or not. At the moment it's kinda ground to a halt so we will see what happens.
  3. Thanks for the glowing review! This is now pending a local sale (not via BC)

  7.
Is this it? Don't see many of those for sale. I guess they are that price because that's what people are willing to pay for a used one. UK tried and tested design, almost unique electronics all done in house at WAL, very high quality.
  8. Yip and for quite a bit more than it is now
  9. You could fix it yourself for nothing - depending on the type of jack socket, sometimes the socket part that should touch the tip of the plug gets slightly bent and this can lead to intermittent connections, I know I fixed this little problem on one of mine a few weeks back. Literally remove the control plate and look at the connection. plug a lead in and see if it is a good tight connection. If there is any movement or gap between the plug and any part of the socket, this is your problem. Remove the plug and bend the connector so it is now a tight connection. Reassemble and try it. Anyway good luck with the sale, it shouldn't hang around too long at that price.
I tried this head out through a Vanderkley 2x12 and I thought it was one of the purest sounding bass amps I have ever played through, faithfully recreating everything my fingers dared to provide; it scared the sh*te out of me! Utter brilliance!
Hahaha

  15.
Did you do the neck yourself? Would love to do the same to mine but the paints not bad enough to make it a "need to" job just yet. Be interested to know how much grief I'd be looking at to get it done though....
No grief at all just patience. Took a couple of days on and off with fine wire wool so as to not mark the wood itself. Obviously you'll need to remove the neck to do it properly. There has been no wood removed just the original paint. Most difficult part is deciding where to stop around the headstock and getting a 'finished' line as the serial number and logos etc are all there. Personal choice really but I've always preferred natural finished necks to painted ones. Now, would someone like to buy this please.
