The speakon sockets on my ShuttleMax were really tight to begin with. But have loosened up now.

Does anyone have any experience of Vinyl Wrap on Bass. I would like to temporarily change the colour of my Bass and would like to know if there are any pitfalls such as loss of tone etc.

Has anyone used a Mooer Baby tune? Any good for low B?

Am I correct in thinking that if I plug my Telecaster through my Genz rig it will do it no harn at all? I play Bass in one band and Guitar in another that practice in the same place and am far too lazy to be lugging amps about.

Why do kettle leads seem to multiply? When everything else seems to disappear?

[/quote] The meaning of cheap has changed. Cheap used to mean shoddy. It basically means it would still be crap at half the price not that it would be inexpensive at half the price. People use the saying wrongly.

Could anyone recommend a good gig bag that a 35" Lakland 55-01 will fit into? It seems to be too much effort for E-bay people to measure them. Looking to spend £30-40. Cheers.

Filling in for a band on guitar at the moment and the singer has decided he wants to do Black magic woman. So I handed him my Tele and said "Best you start practising then" Apparently it doesn't sound "that hard" I have to keep explaining that I play bass not guitar and that it's too small, has too many strings and the B is in the wrong place..

I overheard someone quote £60 for a set up in a music shop a week or so ago. £60!!!!! I had a look at it releif was good action was a little high but not unplayable.It was a brand spanker squier strat. I advised him to look it up on line or I'd do it for £20.
