2.
It takes a whole day to tune it??? Heh, it looks like a great deal. I'll be watching this.
My intention is for it to be a good deal, i really need it to be gone by the time i move.
 3.
where are you based and do you have any piccies. Our drummers kit it uber poo and he's tight so won't buy a new one
I will be putting up a couple of photo's this evening. I'll be honest and say that its not the best kit in the world but i manage to get a pretty decent sound out of it at the end of the day. I'm based in swindon, west country. Due to the nature of the kit there is no way i am willing to sent it so collection only i'm afraid. I really need shoot of it soon because i am moving soon and really cant be bothered to take it with me only to sell it anyway. As a result i will be likely to reduce the price every so often to ensure a sale for myself and a bargain for the buyer. Like i said, pictures to follow.
 4. I have for sale a drum kit that is now no longer needed. The kit consits of bass drum, floor tom and two rack toms. It also comes with Pearl EXP snare and snare stand hi-hat stand, bass pedal, stool and 2 boom stands. Also in the sale is a 10" sabian splash. EDIT: NOW GOING FOR £150 If i think of anything else that comes with it i will add later. Cheers y'all.

 8. Slowly but surely seeling my bit and this is next to go. It's the older larger model. Works and sounds as it should but it has a few minor scratches on it. I would love a quick sale so yours for £45 inc p+p. Everyone knows what they look like so i havent put photo's up yet but if anyone would like to see it let me know and i'll put them up.
 9.
Lovely to meet you today Chris. Got to have a bit of a go with it once I'd got it back, my son was gobsmacked - he had no idea - sounds absolutely gorgeous through his Berg, I'd never believe it wasnt a Fender (and a good one) if I didnt know, lovely fast neck. Its as light as you said too, got to be the most comfortable jazz I've played. Sorry - thats probably rubbing salt into the wound a tad.... Sure we'll bump into each other again sometime, maybe you'll let me have a closer look at your Sandberg (looked lovely!)?
I'm glad to hear your pleased with your new purchase, all the best to your son. Brilliant doing business with you. Regards.
 10. Photos are coming, sorry about the delay. My camera has decided to break on me. Tomorrow, i promise.

 12.
How much does this weigh?? If its a monster its no good to me, but I quite fancy playing recklessly out of tune
Not sure of the exact weight i'm afraid but it is definatley alot lighter than my Fender Marcus Miller bass i had a while ago, incredibly light compared to a Rickenbacher 4003 i once owned and quiet i bit lighter then my current Sandberg. In short it is definately not a monster. I would honestly say that if you've ever pick up any Squier bass before then you will know what to expect. As for the 'playing recklessly out of tune' part, that sure is fun. Especially if you have a 'pitch perfect' guitarist that is funny to wind up, that is brilliant fun. I hope some of this helps.
 13.
I'm interested. Where are you based? how much would it be to deliver to London? Thanks
Cheers for the interest again. I'm based in Swindon, which isn't that far away from London. As for delivery, at a guess i would say about £25 should be enough to cover it. Pick up would be prefered but if it means i have it to send it to have it off my hands then i can. I will add photo's in the next hour or so. Hope this helps.
 14.
Am interested, but what is the condition of it? Do you have a photo of your actual bass rather than a stock one?
Cheers for the interest. The condition is what i would call very good. One or two very minor marks but completely playable and sounds as new. I've only had it for 3 or 4 months. I will post pictures up tomorrow (5th) so that you can see for yourself. Hopefully you will agree. Thanks again.
 15.
PRICE????
Sorry about that, i knew i forgot something. I'm looking for £150 ideally.
 16. I'm selling this bass: http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...rtno=0326608500 I'll add pictures just as soon as i can. This really is a beautifull bass, it plays and sounds awesome. Its in really good condition, only one or two very minor marks. Looking for £150. I need to sell it because i'm moving to a much smaller place soon so its got to go, along with a load of other bits which i will add soon. Any questions, dont hesitate. NOW SOLD!
 17. I would definatley second the Diago, really good product for a really good price. http://www.diago.co.uk/
 18. I use the Electro Harmonix LPB 2ube and it does just what your after. Dont let the fact that its only a preamp pedal put you off, when you combine the two channels and use both gains and volumes you get anything from a gritty bass sound to overblown fat distortion. It wont do super modern high gain fuzz but who wants that anyway, but since it full bandwidth you wont lose any of the bass like you do with other distortion type pedals. Seriously give it a go. The one gripe i do have with it is the funny power supply, its just a bit weird.
 19. Does anyone know what problems would be likely to arrise. I'm not all that clued up on this Ohm stuff.
 20. I would definatley have this off you but that just too damn far to drive.
 21. Not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes anyway. Just completed the sale of an Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Syth with bobbass4K and just wanted to sing his praise's. Thoroughly decent chap and he even helped me with all the in's and out's of my first Basschat sale. He made it really easy for me and for that i thank him. Cheers again. Chris.
 22. I know its a long shot but i dont suppose anyone knows of anywhere where i might be able hire a Markbass Classic 300 for a week or so. I've done the usual internet search but haven't managed to find what i'm after. If anyone knows anywhere that would be great. Cheers y'all.
 23.
i believe several people on here have similar looking cabs (and have also said fantastic things about them), IIRC they were built by the company that originally built cabs for ashdown, or something like that. unfortunately i don't have any info beyond that, but i'm sure someone will know something...
Cheers for the info. If anyone else does know where i might be able to find them that would be great. Thanks again.
 24.
150W into two 6"s will be far quieter than 150W into one 15". Alex
Please forgive my ignorance but how does this work. I'm in the market for either a small combo ar cab too and this comment has intrigued me. Cheers
 25. I bought these cabs a few years ago and to be honest they are brilliant. Not just brilliant for the price i paid for them (£330 for both!) but brilliant full stop. They are based on the now discontinued Ashdown ABM Mini cabs and when matched with my MarkBass LMII they sound awesome. I am thinking of getting another pair of these cabs but over the years i have lost all the contact details for the builder/seller and since they are un-branded i have no reference with which to start a search. If any has any information regarding these cabs that would be greatly appreciated.
