1. Thanks chaps. Testing the water to see if any interest in the cab. If I can get hold of this DB112 with tweeter I MIGHT sell my Bergantino HT112 stack....
2. This item is now SOLD. Hi all, I'm selling one of my Aguilar DB112NTs (non-tweeter) (I've just replaced it with a tweeter version to add to an existing DB112NT.) Boss Tweed, not mint condition as it picked up some wear from a previous owner, but it still looks great, works perfectly and sounds fantastic with great warm, punchy, woody tone. I'm based in Merseyside. Collection preferred. *** I will be driving from Liverpool to Leicester the morning of Friday 18th Jan, and again on Friday 25th Jan. I will be staying in the Greater London area Fri 18th - Sun 20th Jan and Fri 25th - Sun 27th Jan if this makes collection any easier. Might be able to deliver if you live en route *** £270. (Payment by cash, bank transfer or Paypal gift or you pay associated charges, thanks.) Thanks, Steve
3. Damn... should have emailed you this morning about the Oxide!

9. Just a note to add to this post which somebody might find useful. My recently acquired secondhand DB750 fused the circuits at a venue after three gigs of use and would no longer power up. I sent it for repair to an Aguilar recognised technician, received incredible pro-level service and the amp was fully serviced and repaired. I mentioned the 'thermistor' situation with regards to the early amps blowing up circuits on power up, particularly in Europe, and the tech mentioned my amp didn't have one fitted. He contacted Aguilar who advised on the component required, he fitted the thermistor and the amp is now working as new. The serial number of my amp is 2674 so if you have an amp with a number lower than that, chances are you need to have the thermistor fitted to avoid problems on power up. Hope this is useful to someone. Steve Note: the technician I mentioned is Michael Maughan at MAC Electronics http://www.maughanamps.com/service.shtml
10. Great stuff Len. No offence taken. Well, maybe a little Cheers! Steve

13. Hi all, In case you're interested in this kind of thing I will be playing with highly regarded blues/rock guitarist/songwriter Aynsley Lister as a member of his new band. His new line-up features incredible keyboard player André Bassing (Musical Youth, Soweto Kinch) and the amazing Boneto Dryden on drums (Chaka Khan among many others). Check out the gig dates here; http://www.aynsleylister.co.uk/index.php/gigs Cheers! Steve
14. Hi all, I thought you fellow Aguilar users might find this info helpful. My recently purchased used DB750 blew up while setting up for a gig a couple of months ago and the advice of a relatively local valve-amp specialist was that 'it couldn't be repaired'. Thanks to the help of Barrie and Phil at bassgear.co.uk in consultation with Aguilar in New York, I was able to send the amp to a UK-based, Aguilar-recognised repair technician who subsequently found the fault with my amp, repaired the problem areas, serviced it fully and brought it up to current spec. All of this for a reasonable price, with superb communication throughout. A very fast, efficient and professional job. Not only that but they offer a collection and delivery service (via UPS) which was very reasonable in price which made the whole process so much easier. The contact was Dr Michael Maughan and the website address is; http://www.maughanamps.com/service.shtml Hope you find this helpful. Steve
15. Hi there, I'm based in Merseyside if that's any good to you? Maybe a little far but let me know if you're interested. Cheers, Steve

17.
I just sold an Aguilar GS412 cab to beastie, and a nicer chap you couldn't wish to meet. Thanks Gary!
I just bought the above mentioned Aguilar GS412 from Gary. A fantastic speaker cabinet in mint condition which sounds incredible! A very easy transaction. Thanks Gary for making it all painless and easy! All the best, Steve
18. I'll be travelling from Merseyside to Surrey on Saturday 14th July and will be in Gloucestershire on Sunday 15th July if that helps anybody...
19. Thanks Tim. The tour went well thanks! The amp is now SOLD!
20. Thanks Tim! The amp is in the same condition as when I bought it from you. I bought it as a backup but didn't need to use it on the tour, only took it out of the box to test it on a gig. How long did you have it for before you sold it to me, can you remind me? People might find that useful. All the best, Steve
