5.
Yup. Why should it have 2?
my amp only has one, no other reason
6. am I right in seeing that it only has one speakon in the back?
7. nah its just cos i have a warwick at the moment but i'm really not impressed with it. I just wondered how it would compare with the marshall
8. is that a warwick rig i see next to it? how does it compare to that?
9. hey, i got a 2x10 cab rated for 400W, and am putting about 200W through it with my amp. when i crank the volume, the speakers will move a considerable amount, even if i play quietly. But if i start slapping while the volume is turned up, the speakers go crazy and i'm worried one of these days they will just tear or something. They are paper after all... Is it safe for speakers to move a lot, or should they just move a little under load? cheers
10. hey guys, im really worried about my cab. Basically, i usually play with the tweeter completely off, but someone said it will burn up the crossover, so lately i've had the tweeter on a tiny amount. anyways, in the past few days ive noticed that the tweeter (i think) is making a weird crackly sound. At least i think its the tweeter, maybe it could be the woofer though i dont think so. any ideas what this could mean? is my tweeter busted? its a Warwick WCA 211 Pro cab - this one: http://www.warwickbass.com/modules/produkt...25296&cl=EN thanks for any help
11. hey sorry man, i'd actually love to keep my pedal, but i need driving lessons before I go off to uni, so i've gotta sell some stuff unfortunately. sorry but thanks for the offer

If you dont want it for £120 (which i dont expect it to go for, to be honest) then by all means try and get it for £85. Thats a bargin if you ask me. Thanks for looking at it.
13. nope, but its 'like' new. the only thing that is not new about it is that the paint has come off the top front slightly, but thats all. The underside still has the protective plastic covering on it!

16. Hi guys, My rig has finally come together, some of the parts took ages to ship But its here now... Its a Warwick ProFet 3.2 amp with a couple of WCA 211 Pro cabs. Sounds great but it is very quiet. If i had known how quiet it would be i would have opted for the 500W version. Oh well, live and learn! Here are some pics: I cant decide whether the amp looks better with the sleeve on or off
17. yes but my point is, its all well and good having something to tell you you're clipping, but are you damaging the amp? is it a "warning" light?
18. the german warwick site is better: www.warwick.de lol i agree its pretty damn quiet, but it does sound quite good. i do like the contour and deep swiches, and i do a LOT of slapping lol. although i have turned off the tweeter on the cab because i found it too harsh. i feel that the compressor is kind of a protection thing, because with it off, the amp clips way more, but with it on, it quietens the notes and the amp doesnt clip as much. clipping can occur whether there is no output sound or if there is a lot, right. if there is no sound coming from the speakers (i.e. master volume at 0), and i turn the gain up and just hit the strings, the clip light will go crazy. since the speakers are not producing any sound, is this at all damaging to ANYTHING? also, when the speakers are on, is clipping only really dangerous if the speakers are working near their limit? (i.e. when the master volume is turned up high?) cheers
19. yes well we are talking about the warwick profet 3.2 head, not an ashdown ABM which i'm sure is FAR better than the warwick.
20. wow thanks for all the comments guys. Moo, i do the same as you. I just turn the master volume on 10, and use the gain to adjust the overall volume. otherwise it is just too quiet. im a bit frustrated with the clip light, and i tend to push quite far past it. do you think i am doing any damage to the amp or the cab? i cant really hear any difference when it clips, just the light comes on. if the master volume is on 0 (i.e. no output volume), and then you crank the gain past clipping, are you doing any damage? to the head maybe? cheers guys
